Make range and elevation knobs work like cursor
-
I’m currently using my gamepad’s left stick to slew the cursor and the right one as the antenna elevation and range knob (Y and X axis respectively).
E.g. zooming in fully on the TGP and then letting go of the stick makes the zoom go to 2.5x instead of staying on 4x. Similarly, moving the antenna all the way down and then releasing the stick recenters it.
Is there a way to make these two act like the cursor? Staying on their place instead of going to center.
If it’s not, either natively through some config option I may have missed in the falcon_bms.cfg or through the AL somehow, I’m open to suggestions on how I could make it work through programs like VJoy or something similar as I’m not knowledgeable on them.

@unkindled I think this has to be a vJoy/Gremlin thing.
sorry I don’t remember what term to search for, but I think I’ve seen this kind of thing referred to for managing a throttle axis, with a game controller.

@airtex2019 Thank you for the guidance. Searched it up and took a quick look and I think it might do just fine.
