BMS 4.37.2 - Graphic Engine Fail
-
Version
BMS 4.37.2 (x64)Build
521Detailed Description
When looking in the certain directions the graphic engine seems to fail.
The conditions are unknown. This mostly happens in campaigns when looking at areas with probably high object density (I’m really guessing here). If I keep looking in those directions long enough BMS crashes to desktop without any further information in the xlog. I hope you find anyting usefull in the dump.
This happens with and without VR. It happened also in previous versions (and on my previous PC).My ‘Falcon BMS User.cfg’:
///////////////// // VR Settings // ///////////////// set g_nVRHMD 0 // Enables the OpenVR (default 0/false). set g_fVRZOOMFOV 60 // Field of view in degrees for VR ZOOM (default 60.0). set g_nVRHMCSEYE 0 // HMCS renders, 0 Right eye, 1 Left eye (default 0/false). set g_fVRResolution 1.0 // VR resolution multiplier. 1.0 by default. set g_bVRParallelRenderThread 1 // Enable Multi-Thread optimization for VR set g_bVRNoPresent 1 // This will not display the companion window in VR (only HMD will show image in 3d). set g_fVRIPDMultiplier 1.0 // adjust world scale, default = 1.0.

- Join Plasma4 (OCA STRIKE) in the ‘Auto Save.cam’
- Behaviour should be like in the video.
Expected Behavior
Behaviour should not be like in the video.EDIT
It turned out that I had custom settings for g_nReagTimerCamp, g_nDeagTimerCamp, g_nReagTimerTE and g_nDeagTimerTE in my config. After resetting those to default the issue is almost gone (had it on one parking spot in Seosan). So it seems that this is related to the amount of objects (aircraft) in the field of view.
