Playstation4 VR

I know PS4VR only has 3 dof and it’s considered too much of a hassle for 4.37, but finally decided to have a go at it anyway (As my son’s PS4VR is just lying there collecting dust !)
So, I found an instructional video and installed “Steam VR” and “iVRy driver for Steam VR” and started connecting the VR to the PC.
When I start up the VR my PC recognizes it as my 4th screen (I know…), but in my goggles I only see an "USB with an “X” before it (That can’t be good! Also can’t find that symbol searching the net, so I tried to draw it, see figure below) Neither changing to another USB port nor buying a new micro USB cable solved that.
Anyone an idea?

Tried different USB Ports on your PC?
As someone who spent weeks trying to get this solution to work, I really can’t emphasize this enough - Don’t waste your time

@MCDeedle Yes to no avail. You’re right. My son promised to have a look (as I’m a “Boomer” in his eyes LOL) I give it another few days.
BTW Did you get it working?

I wish my boomer dad is as cool as you

@Doc0301 That depends on what your definition of “working” is.
I was into DCS at the time and got it “working” with the trial of whatever the paid driver is on Steam, in that it displayed VR content with bad tracking, drift and too many components.
IMO I don’t see the benefit in the exercise. Use the headset on the PS4 to see if you like the concept and experience of VR with the understanding that pretty much all PCVR blows it out of the water.
If you’re still unsure I suggest picking up a used headset, something like a Rift S. Prices don’t move much on them (at least where I live) so you’d probably be able to resell it for a good price later if you want to get rid of it.
