Winwing launches F-16 ICP
-
Found this on youtube:
Don’t know, if it will work with BMS, but interesting development.
Might be designed for that other Sim.I’m not related to Winwing in any way.
SunnnyPS:
Just to let you know:
Winwing has currently a sale running. -
Everything WinWing makes is supposed to be able to work with BMS. I asked their support staff about it before I bought my HOTAS from them. Haven’t had any problems so far.
-
@Tboneeodusmc the HOTAS is not hard to work with BMS. The device is recognized and you do the key assignment yourself. I believe the same will be the case with this ICP, but I am not sure that the DED integration will be that easy, unless WINWING makes it BMS compatible, communicating directly with the sim.
An example is the Viper TQS, that was made fully compatible with the other sim (or so they advertise, I have no personal knowledge) but not with BMS. You can still assign the keys and make it work, but if you want the LED lights to work, you have to program them yourself via TARGET and they will be just for show, as they will be dependent on key position, not what actually happens in the sim.
Also, someone asked in another post if anyone had tried to use the WINWING MFDs with BMS, but there was no answer.

Any idea if that DED can be separated from the ICP so that they can be located correctly in a cockpit?
-
@Atlas it would appear to be the same housing
-
@Quasi_Stellar Ugh they always get very close to an exact replica and then fudge one thing to make me not want it. Damn.
-
@Quasi_Stellar Yes but can you remove them from the housing and they are actually 2 items? Or are they built as one solid unit?
