Morphine's Profile

That makes sense I just never had the issue with my Cougar. I am pretty sure the stick is centered but I will check. Seeing that once I am in the air and level off I can take my hand off the stick and the plane stays level it probably is centered.

Hi Morphine, I have some problem with your profile, the warthog combined buttons are recognized inside BMS like button 66, 67, 68 and on……in this way is not possible to use it, I do not know why, the profile worked well days ago, from yesterday I have this problem, can you help me?

Your controller ID has changed. You probably plug some new controller in or change the USB port you connect. See this: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?8147-Morphine-s-Profile&p=202779&viewfull=1#post202779

Ok I change the ID controller……I unplugged every usb controller, after that I plug joystick and run control panel and set as my favorite controller, after that i unplugged the joystick and I did the same operation with throttle and rudder control pedal, follow this way I adjusted my ID controller…so I can use again Morphine’s profile…Sanpats thank you for help and support and Morphine thank you for profile

I just got my warthog. I have never used TARGET or BMS. I downloaded TARGET and the two files for the Warthog (FalconBMS-Warthog and Warthog_DX.key Where do these go. I opened them both in target and when I open the game it says I am using thrustmater combined but I have no controls and nothing is mapped.
I need the most dumbed down version possible to help me please.
Oh does having the throttle and stick plugged into the same usb port via a hub mater?

Hey Rungaul,
I would recommend using the motherboard USB ports. There were some issues when the Warthog first came out, the new firmware has since sorted it out but it was recommended to use the MB ports. The Warthog.key goes in your User/config folder and the Warthog.tmc can be anywhere handy as you reference it through TARGET to launch the script. You load the .key file in Setup/controllers and the .TMC is loaded when you run it under TARGET. Always launch TARGET first before starting FAalcon BMS. You should have also downloaded some photos which show you how to setup your controls. If not, revisit Morphines 1st post and download them.
BTW - Once you have everything all set make sure you change both “axismapping.dat” and "“joystick.cal” in your user/config file to read only. That way if you accidentally launch Falcon before running the TARGET script it will not screw up your settings.
If you still need some help PM me and we can setup time to talk on TS.

Hi,
I bought the G13 but don’t know how to configure it with the profile morphine 2; someone can help me?
Thanks a lot. -
The Radar cursor is set inside of BMS on the Controllers -> Avionics page. Using the drop down to select Cursor X and Y. You may have to reverse Cursor Y for it to work properly.
Good evening, its normal for the cursor to slide down in the right corner of the MFD when is not used? I am centering the cursor via Shift+TMS Left, but the cursor just keep sliding down the right. I have the configuration you have in your screenshots(Y inverted).
Thanks in advance

Sounds like you may have a calibration issue with your cursor. Try testing it in windows device manager. If it’s OK in windows, then perhaps you have two commands set to the cursor (doubled up). Did you do any mods or make any changes to your control settings recently? It may mean the .tmc or .key file has been corrupted. Try downloading and installing a fresh Warthog.TMC and Warthog.key.

No as Sarge55 said, it sounds like something is not working correctly and it could be a software issue or your hardware has gone bad. In addition to the Windows Device Manager, also look at the Thrustmaster Device Manager. You can access it by starting the TM Script Editor, RUN the script and then in the top menu you should see an icon with the name Device Manager. Launch this and check to see if the Cursor Y axis is centering properly. As you will see in the program in the left panel it lists the raw data for the cursor (Y axis) and in the right panel it shows the Combined TM device output where it is called the Ry axis.

Hi,
I tried to use this profile but when I launch it compare:“Compile error: File not found: target.tmh in falconBMS-Warthog.tmc at line 1”
Where is my mistake? -

Hello again, seems to be a calibration problem with Y axis basicaly. I found Throttle calibration tool version 1.07 on the web, and calibrated several times but the problem remains the same. Here is the output file of calibration tool:

As of this the cursor keep traveling in MFD until reach the down right corner and stays here as Zero position, not in the MFD center. I know that this isn’t the appropriate topic, but what you advice me to do?
I want to mention that in freefalcon i used to fly I had a TARGET profile, with cursor assigned to Trim switch on the stick, so never before I had use the throttle slew control for cursor.Thank you for your answers!

I’m afraid I’m not able to decipher the code from your tests, outside my expertise. But I can make a couple of suggestions.
Try setting a dead zone in BMS controls, start with small and go larger to see if it works. If the Warthog is out of warranty you could try opening the throttle and clean the slew switch and if that fails order a new one from TM.Morphine may have some other suggestions, he’s far more an expert at this than I. I guess in the meantime you could reprogram a shift function for one of the others hats to act as slew.
Good luck, sorry not much help.

Could someone please post a screenshot if the keyboard layout for Morphine’s profile. I can’t get PSkeys to work.
Maybe Morphine you could add that screen shot to your links on the download page?
Thanks all.

Thank you, already contacted TM and wait for response, I tried settings about deadzone and saturation, but its the same thing, it going all way down to 5 miles scan in the corner if Y axis is inverted or all the way up in 160 miles scan when Y axis is normal. The strange about that is in device analyzer going from 512 to 0 and 1023 and after calibration, even if the center is wrong must work with this wrong center as zero position and don’t move without even press the cursor enable function. Anyway thank you for your interest and I want to apologize to Morphine for my offtopic posts.
Edit: Because I will not make it right, can you explain me please how to change the shift to paddle switch and how to assign the cursor function to TRIM switch and make the trim function shifted?
Thanks again

Thanks for the great profile Morphine! The only thing that I would like to change is have the lights on the throttle off when not in burner and then have the lights turn on when I hit the dead zone of the throttle. I am not an expert with Target yet and if anyone could help me with that it would be much appreciated.

TIP: How to change the SHIFT function to the Paddle from the S3 button.
You need to make changes in both the script and the key file. Changed text in Red.
Script Changes:
1. Change: SetShiftButton(&Joystick, S3);
to: SetShiftButton(&Joystick, S4);2. Change: MapKey(&Joystick, S4, TEMPO(PULSE+F12, DX4, 750));
to: MapKey(&Joystick, S3, TEMPO(PULSE+F12, DX3, 750));Key file Changes:
1. Change the following lines:
Pinky/S3 (Win DX3 = BMS DX2)
SimHotasPinkyShift 2 -1 -2 0 0x0 0
Paddle/S4 (…and so on…)
SimAPOverride 3 -1 -2 0 0x0 0
To:
Pinky/S3 (Win DX3 = BMS DX2)
SimAPOverride 2 -1 -2 0 0x0 0
Paddle/S4 (…and so on…)
SimHotasPinkyShift 3 -1 -2 0 0x0 0
2. Change the following lines:
Pinky/S3 (Win DX3 = BMS DX2+256 = BMS DX258)
SimHotasPinkyShift 258 -1 -2 0 0x0 0
Paddle/S4 (…and so on…)
SimDoNothing 259 -1 -2 0 0x0 0
To:
Pinky/S3 (Win DX3 = BMS DX2+256 = BMS DX258)
SimDoNothing 258 -1 -2 0 0x0 0
Paddle/S4 (…and so on…)
SimHotasPinkyShift 259 -1 -2 0 0x0 0

The only thing that I would like to change is have the lights on the throttle off when not in burner and then have the lights turn on when I hit the dead zone of the throttle.
Challenge Accepted!
This is also something I’ve wanted to do for a while as well. Add the code below to the TARGET Script and the 1st (Top) LED will come on once you are in the deadzone and the remaining lights will come on once you leave the deadzone and activate the AB. In your controller setup screen set the AB detent when the first light is on and you will be good to go.
Add the code below between the following two lines in the TARGET Script:
SetShiftButton(&Joystick, S3);////////////////// AXIS CONTROLS //////////////////////////////
////////////////// LED CONTROLS ////////////////////////////// //initialize LED status all "OFF" ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED1)); //set LED 1 OFF ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED2)); //set LED 2 OFF ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED3)); //set LED 3 OFF ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED4)); //set LED 4 OFF ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED5)); //set LED 5 OFF //LED Throttle Position Indicator; LED 1 - MIL Power; LED 1-5 AB KeyAxis(&Throttle, THR_LEFT, 0, AXMAP2( LIST( 0, 65, 75 ), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED1), CHAIN( LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED1), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED2), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED3), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED4), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED5)), CHAIN( LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED2), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED3), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED4), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED5)) ));
If you’ve changed the deadzone to something other than 65 - 75, you will need to adjust the vaules in the text “AXMAP2( LIST( 0, 65, 75 )” accordingly.

TigerShark.Some questions TigerShark.
Are you saying the Cursor Y axis doesn’t move uncontrollably in the TM Device Analyzer?
And it does begin moving uncontrollably (in the TM Device Analyzer) if you push the Cursor In (cursor enable)?
Are you running these tests with the script running?
Does the cursor work properly in another flight sim like DCS A-10C? -
