Opentrack issue
-
Hi gents,
I’m still using the old Opentrack/EDtracker with arduino gyroscope unit and recently I have an issue when I move the head up and down around the horizon line, the image snaps a little bit, but enough to disturb some manouvers as landing.
The snap seems to happen only when passing through the horizon line, and not when you point at the sky or earth
The yaw movements instead are linear and without any snap, I tried to change different setup parameters as mapping curves, smoothing, dead zone… but without any outcome.
I would have like to post a little video to better explain the issue but I’ve not the permissions so I hope I explained myself enough.Thank you for any help…

@magoo Check for any curve on Opentrack mapping. Around 0 the curve could be seen like flat but it isn’t. First try to turn off any curve, go linear and check that you still have the snap effect.

@hiuuz
Thank you mate !!! I hadn’t noticed that the pitch curve doesn’t start at 0.00,0.00 but at 0.00, 1.00,
that’s why moving the head up and down there was a snap.

@magoo You are welcome!
