Solved Throttle & canopy problem
-
My throttle is functioning properly in the navigation TE but in ground ops training the throttle and the canopy do not. The spider will move but the canopy does not, the throttle does not function at all. Why would the throttle work in one TE and not the other, a mystery.
Thank you,

@vagabonds65 If you are cold and dark, you have to close the canopy before using the spider switch. The throttle will not move until you hit the idle detent during engine startup.

Thank you for your reply, I will try both.

@vagabonds65
In the NAV TE, you’re in a hot jet. In Ground Ops, you are in a cold-and-dark jet.The spider only secures the canopy switch. You will want to use the canopy switch to raise/lower the canopy. In a cold-and-dark jet, the throttle is in the CUT OFF position and you will have to move it to IDLE first. Depending on how your real/physical throttle is set up, you can move that out of CUT OFF into IDLE or you may need to press a button to activate the callback.
