Relation of movie numbers and file names for TRIgger events
-
Hello,
following a discussion in Nordic theater, I’m trying to overhaul the somewhat flawed TRI file there (Save0): https://forum.falcon-bms.com/post/396789How are the movie numbers connected with the file names? Is there some text file or some DB-entry (haven’t found anything in MC)?
Or is it hard coded? But how can I do the math that movie 107 is E6.avi or the X… ones are the campaign ending files?
Thanks in advance.

Found it, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
So, there is a double linking.
First, you define a movie string for a video filename in \Data\Add-On Nordic\Art\Main\movies.irc like
[MOVIE] MV_USDEFENDS “movies\E6.avi” [COMBINED FORCES PUT ON THE DEFENSIVE]Then you connect the string with the number in movies.id in the same folder:
MV_USDEFENDS 107 -
@Atze-0 correct. That’s just how resource files like irc and rsc works, with the main difference that irc are basically textfiles human readable for some stuff like images there might be a third file “rsc” that hold the decoded images as binary data. In order to view those you need a resource file reader
