      I’m just joining in with BMS and am looking to install a Warthog profile. Unfortunately, some of the profiles on this forum have older .tmc extensions whereas my Warthog software currently runs profiles with an .fcf extension. I don’t think they are compatible, but again I’m not too tech saavy. Thanks for any assistance.

        It’s not newer vs. older; it’s script vs GUI configuration. The Thrustmaster software should add two shortcuts for two programs “TARGET Script Editor” and “TARGET GUI.” For .TMC one runs it through the editor program. So if you have a good .TMC file, use it. There is nothing to be gained by using an .FCF extension file as far as I can tell. In fact the .FCF format is less capable than .TMC in a lot of ways. Any person who is competent to use either is going to gravitate toward .TMC simple for the direct, speedy, and powerful nature of it.

        I borrow this example from SimHQ where a user wrote the same functional command in both formats:
        .TMC (C language)

        MapKey(&Joystick, H4D, PULSE+R_SHIFT+'n');
        ```.SFS (XML)
        <event13><hidevent><devicenumber>1001</devicenumber>
        <name>H4D</name>
        <hidtype>3</hidtype>
        To someone with programming experience the former is so much easier to work with it's not funny. GUI might be appealing to people that don't/can't code in text but it's sooooooo slow compared to what you can do if you do code.
            Hi, I have a Warthog and I found a profile and TARGET cannot be used to load a profile, you load it using the Script Loader. Once loaded you can go into BMS and setup your controls. It’s been a while however I believe the rudder has to be reversed. I was using this with BMS 4.32 update 6 with a virtual squadron. I went back to school for my medic cert and due to the amount of homework took a leave. I also had the Track IR5 with the pro clip. The warthog for me worked much smoother then the Saitek X65 which I tried for 4 months and no matter what I set it at could not control the jet well enough to air refuel, others had no issues with it. In summary there are good profiles for the Warthog out there and having two throttles with stops at idle and AB plus it’s built like a tank. i bolted my throttle down, with this we are good to go with twin engine fighters. As stated earlier I had to load the profile using the script launcher that comes with the software.
