Hi all, I’m new and have an issue that I can’t seem to figure out. When I first installed BMS I was able to look around using my hat on my joystick (Logitech Extreme Pro 3D). Then I was messing with FreeTrackNoIr for a while but stopped using it because it was glitchy. Now I tried doing the Tactical Engagement > 00 - Ramp Start and at the point when I assume that it was supposed to pan to the cockpit latch it just zoomed in while looking dead forward (I had external mouse enabled). I then saw that you should uninstall FreeTrackNoIr before doing this so I uninstalled it and still nothing. Furthermore in the Instant Action option I no longer have the ability to look around using the hat in view 3 only the “clicky” looking around in view 2. I then uninstalled and reinstalled BMS with no results. I for the life of me cannot figure out what is wrong.

Does anybody have any idea on what I am doing wrong or how to fix this issue?

      Thanks!

The 3d revolving pit should be available in 3D mode ie press 3 on keyboard. Check in settings that 3D viewing is turned on, if it is turn it off, restart then turn it back on again. Check freetrack has been FULLY removed and not just uninstalled. Then if after all that it fails to work, welcome to the world of the ever present glitch.
Generally if the external viewing screws up a reinstall should cure it.

          Thanks Gyro,

I tried all that and still no luck… but then I reinstalled FaceTrackNoIr, ran the game with it disabled, then closed the game uninstalled FaceTrackNoIr and then it seemed to work. I’m not really sure if that actually fixed it or if it just coincidentally started working right after doing that. Oh well, can’t complain!
