Has anyone completed a campaign or played far into it? Going to give this theater a go with my squadron I think - but would appreciate some reviews.

There is only one campaign functional. (Tweaked.) I read somewhere a report with screenshot which showed a finished (bule won) campaign.

Are there supposed to be aim-7 in the f-16 squadrons? I noticed there isn’t.

Why should be? In the '80s only ADF (Block 15) variants had AIM-7. They never sent into combat, even during ODS.

So how are you supposed to engage mig-23 with apex and mig-29 with alamo? Seems pretty damn dangerous lol.

This was the reality… Apex is quite weak to ECM, beaming in chaff. It can be defeated easily. Alamo is better, but MiG-29 is marginal in campaign…
(As well as was in RL in '80s comparing the fleet size of NATO.)

“Launch the Korea80.exe, target have to be \data directory in your BMS4 install”
after I downloaded the 4 files and extracted them I got a file with exe but when i try to install it I get another extraction option with a folder named Add-On-Korea-80. correct? this file should go as quoted above?
2 - the other files , Add-On-Korea-80-sim , do they include the regular files built in the sim folder couse as i understand i need to replace the original folders in the sim -
Yes, it should be extracted to \data.
The packed Add-On-Korea-80-sim contains the dat files which sould be copied into \data\sim.

Short news. I saw in FLARE topic, that some people worried about long and “dead” projects. This project is not dead I just do not have time currently working on it. I haven’t finished my F-15 article. I do not promise anything but hopefully you can get a very nice Christmas present from me. I try to finish the MOD, '80s and '90s theater will be available hopefully with tons of new 3D models, more balanced DB, more tweaked campaigns, etc.

I still haven’t finished my “article” - it will be about 260 pages long - about F-15. After I have done I will relax a bit with Risen 2 then I return back to my MOD. I have a “to do” list concerning the MOD. As the MOD comes later it can get more new 3D models. Do not worry, it is not forgotten.
Othewise the release date also depends on contributors, because I cannot do everything myself. I need help for LOD integration, new main UI for '90s theater and setting carrier squadrons in campaigns.

It works with U3, because the gun damage was not altered between U2 and U3. I tested with U3, worked without any problem.

AI Fighter is too passive …

I cannot do anything with AI. I can set as good ATO roster and missio type and target types as possible but AI is out of my scope…
BTW last time I tried about 8 enemy AI engeged my flight and we were shot down within a minute. I made an ACMI record, but I do not why I deleted it. When I will be return to this project I will make some preview shot. Here are some older.
MiG-23 defeats an AIM-9M with flares.
Second launch by me + an AI missile. One was defeated from these two.
Result.
Just imagaine how big dogfights are in campaigns with these missiles. You have to work for the victory. Mostly I flew only 2-3 missions, but dogfights between 4-8 jets is very typical.

The AIM-9M is easier to defeat than the R-73.

In my MOD or in stock DB? Because in stock DB both literally immune to flares… In my DB AIM-9M have better seeker values as R-73 but they are quite close.
