there someone uses this joystick? Do you have a profile for BMS 4.33? I need help to set. Can you advice me ? Do not speak English does not help to understand the new Keystroke Thank You !!
-
I use it and even if it has few buttons/hats with DirectX shifting you can map quite a good number of functions to it.
Please find my keyfile attached, it’s based on the new “BMS Full” 4.33 keyfile so you have all the latest and greatest stuff already available.
Let me know if you need help with it.EDIT: hi all, sorry for being away for so many time… RL calling.
I have updated the attached file, it’s based on a newer version of “BMS - Full.key” stock keyfile and has some minor changes to assignments (e.g. the shifted trigger now activates DF Override instead of MRM Override).
Unfortunately, this will be the last update as I went to T.16000M FCS HOTAS… I hope you all will enjoy and find it useful again. -
Here is mine. I used “BMS - Blank.key” and build it from there.
I hided the unused keys so you can examine all the used keyboard keys in controller settings easily.
Let me describe the HOTAS keys:Flight Stick:
Button 1: Trigger Second Detent.
Shifted 1: CMSUp
Button 2: Pickle
Shifted 2: CMSLeft
Button 3: HotasPinkyShift (Hold this button to shift other Hotas buttons)
Button 4: MSL STEP SWITCH
Shifted 4: Paddle SwitchHat Switch: Used for panning the view. You can change it if you are using Trackir. I dont.
Shifted Hat = TMSThrottle Quadrant:
Button 5: RDR CURSOR - Left
Shifted 5: DMSLeft
Button 6: TQS: RDR CURSOR - Up
Shifted 6: DMSUp
Button 7: TQS: RDR CURSOR - Right
Shifted 7: DMSRight
Button 8: TQS: RDR CURSOR - Down
Shifted 8: DMSDown
Button 9: TQS: RDR CURSOR - Cursor Enable
Shifted 9: TQS: ANT ELEV Knob - Tilt Up
Button 10: TQS: MAN RANGE Knob - UNCAGE
Shifted 10: TQS: ANT ELEV Knob - Tilt Down
Button 11: CMSDown
Shifted 11: TQS: MAN RANGE Knob - Up
Button 12: CMSRight
Shifted 12: TQS: MAN RANGE Knob - Down -
A huge thank you both for your files and your answers. This community is truly extraordinary. Cemtufekci thank you for the detail that will be very useful.
I just have a little trouble because I do not know where to place your .key files.
I tried to file my joy2key software that usually serves me sort my joystick, but do not find him and I looked in the files Falcon 4.33 but is not found myself appearing corresponding location.
edit sorry for my english google

You put the .key file into /User/Config directory. Later goto controller settings ingame and click “load”. Select your keyfile name. cem if you use mine:) And dont make any modifications via controller settings else you can break the key file. Just use a text editör and modify the keyfile itself. Read the “BMS Key File Manual.pdf” file inside
“docs/Key Files & Input” directory. You dont need to know all of it. Copy, paste and search are your friend. If you want to change a hotas button just copy the numbers and paste where you want it. Example:
SimCursorUp 5 -1 -2 0 0x0 0 “TQS: RDR CURSOR - Up”
That 5 means button 6 (0 is button 1). All other numbers are not important. If you take those numbers and put them under another function that function will be button 6. Thats all. Dont forget to change the older one to “-1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 -2” which means not used. And 256 means shifted button 1, 257 means shifted 2 so on.
All throttle functions are under “======== 2.19 THROTTLE QUADRANT SYSTEM ========” heading.
All stick functions are under “======== 5.11 FLIGHT STICK ========” heading.
Although you can assaign any other functions to hotas.Keyboard system is different. Look at the keyboard layout files for button codes and read the keyfile manual(at least pages 15-20).

I will try all that, I will keep you informed of my progress

After several attempts, trials, head shots, crisis, crying … I finally managed to configure my joystick with your help and your data. It is now necessary that I adapt to my way of “stealing (lool google…) flying”. But I was able to do my first lap and dropping my first bombinette
(bomblet)
So a huge thank you to you

You are welcome!

Don’t even mention it, helping someone in need is always pleasant.

Guys i have the same joystick and i come over with problem…i have my controlls set ok. But the axis sensitivity is too high for me. Tryied all the in game settings. I try to use joystick curves and when i select the virtual joy axis that i cant use my hat switch anymore. Any clues??
-
I am not sure I understand your problem, but did you try tightening the stick spring to make it harder so you need to apply more force to make it move?

Y sorry i was in a hurry. So i feel that the sesnsitivity settings are too high and since i cant set any cyrvatures i had to use an external program (joystick curves). then i have to assing the axis i modifed in the axis tab in game. Since i use a virtual device i need to assign that one. So instead of using for Y Axis, the T-Flight i have to use my virtual joy 1. Everything then works right but not my hatswitch on my joystick…

Sorry, I don’t know anything about the joystick curves tuning program you are using… did you try calibrating your HOTAS from Windows “Gaming Peripherals” in Control Panel?
-

Which one? Shift button?

=-O Y that one

You assaign one button as pinkyshift. And when you hold it and press another button you shift the pressed button.(like shift key on keyboard).

Thnx!
