Window mode
-
Hey guys, can’t find any good answers on this when searching for it (probably just lousy choice of keywords). Is there any way I could run BMS windowed, being able to tab out and back in, without risking the mouse/pointer desync? I prefer to run sims in windowed mode so that I can monitor my flight while simultaneously managing manuals, websites, recordings, skype, and so on. Using the Configuration-method just gives me a lot of headaces in terms of window positioning and task switching.

Hi,
add -windowed to bms.exe parameters. Not sure how the exe is exactly called, I’m away from my machine. More precisely, make a link to the bms.exe, open the link’s properties in windows explorer, and modify the execution path “/bin/bms.exe” to read “/bin/bms.exe -windowed”. However, I’m not sure if running BMS in windowed mode solves the mouse pointer desync problem.
Cheers!

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately it didn’t prevent the pointer desync.

Update: Ctrl+alt+del and cancel resets the cursor desync, suddenly window mode is as usefull as I want it to be! (Thanks Blu3wolf!)
