I hope the moderators do not mind it.@Metalhead:**Hi gentlemen, I would like to announce that the F-22-BMS-07-07-2013 version IS available to download in the skydrive, but only for those who will install manually using lod-editor.
For the OCI version, I will upload it in the next weekS. Please OCI users take some patience that it will be ready as soon as possible.
Some changes were made, and it will be explained in the manual that is not ready yet.
Added “pilot reflexion” in the glass canopy
I hope all you enjoy this new version.

How do I install this?

How do I install this?
Install all the models that are there inside the *.rar file using the tool called LOD-Editor. If you do not know how to do that, I made available a tutorial in the folder: Skydrive>Falcon-BMS-Files>Tutorials> “F22-install-tutorial-videos.rar”
I will also upload the tutorial in *.pdf file.

Hi Metalhead - your F-22 looks great(!!), so I downloaded the OCI for it yesterday, and when I ran it, it crashed about 3/4 of the way through…here’s the log:
Faulting application name: Add-On F22 Installer v. 1.0.0.0.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4b1ae3c1

Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll
Report Id: 7fa8da9c-fca8-11e2-a69b-bcaec52d2b79I ran the uninstaller, and everything was restored, thankfully! Has anyone else had this crash error? I’m running W7-64.
Thanks,
Burner59ps - I’m not familiar with and don’t have LOD Editor on my system, so that’s why I chose the OCI.
-
I do not know what may have happened, and do not know about this error with another user either, so lets wait for more complaints about that.
I do not understand log files, sorry. But you could take a look in the F22-Installation-tutorial, that is available and start learning. Lod-Editor will be very useful for you in the future. -
Thanks…I’ll wait it out. Installing via LOD Editor = tedious…maybe I’ll get inspired and do it at some point if nobody else has the same problem w/OCI.
-
While Lod editor look tedious at first, metalhead’s instructions are pretty clear. I used them without understanding lodeditor, and was fine. Just backup your install directory first
-
If only I could find a squadron online that actually flew these and or would include them in there campaign for me to fly!!!

@A.S:
I have to wonder and ask: Why people try to simulate a plane which data is more than to 70% classified?
F22 Raptor for Falcon BMS is only “eyes candy” as the Americans used to say… But we love it anyway… I never get any classified information, just the pictures we can find available in the INTERNET.
All systems are F16, inside the F22 cockpit… so, nothing classified

another add on to make our falcon experience better
-
We have at the 801st our own custom theater. Campaign includes the F22. We fly them regularly attached to our 412th Fighter Squadron
-
I am working in the 3d cockpit and have thought that I have to make more inside that. So I decided to add the “holes” where the screws are placed… I do not know how to say better in English, so there is the pics. Some users who have the new version with rwr in the center mfd, may realized that the textures for the front panel is wrong… Yes, in fact they are, that is because I have made the changes in the front panel, and in the texture mapping, and exported the new texture, but do not export the new model yet. So I will work in that this week, and will make all effort to release it as soon as possible…
I am right now thinking in ask for a team which will work together in the 3d cockpit of the F22.
Regards MetalheadPlease, notice in the “arrows” the holes I am talking about…
-
can I include myself to the 801st F22 development team?
-
can I include myself to the 801st F22 development team?
Yes, of course, but not only 801st, but all BMS members. Number one… Who more interested?
-
1- reducing the external model to 30000 triangles.
2-create new missiles for the F22. I will explain my idea when the team is ready. Just a quick explanation: I have been thinking in split the missiles and the “LAU-142/A AMRAAM Vertical eject launcher” and sidewinders launchers, with the missiles in order to reduce polygons. But we need to rename it as (for example) AIM-120X and AIM-9R, or Q or whatever letter just for do not erase the missiles used by other aircrafts.
3- make a paint-kit for the textures, if someone wants it in the future.
4-fix the behavior of the new flight model.( it is good, but I have some issues which will be visible in the video I am uploading right now… 5 parts… takes some time for that.
5- fix the WBD opening by itself. This we need help from the DEVS.
6-finish the cockpit models
Well, there is too much on doing in the F22… It’s not finished yet.
All help will be appreciated very much.
I will edit it if necessary, and as long as I remember what to do more.
Maybe I will add this in the first post
Regards Metalhead -
I’m interested. I’ve integrated your F22 and pit into every theater of my install. Its a great jet to fly
