Hope this helps.
You’ve gave me the “holy bible” of DOF Robert !!! thank you
I’ve somethin to play now
PS: this is when I say “Looking from the shoulders of a giant FalconDev” !

Radar warning existed of 4 lights around the central MFD, which lighted to the direction of the received radar signal.
Like so.
-
Thank Tronald, that’s the RWR in the AJ/SH/SK range.
In the JA37 cockpit, these are the RWR lights (around the central MFD)
Less resolution, but in combination with the info on the moving map a lot more SA.And the AOA / G / VVI readings are much improved. Thanks qawa!

The first picture is from the original JA-37, the one you show are the DI version who was modified for international service

You know, if the day comes that we can better model a greater number of avionics realistically, it would be really cool to see these aircraft operating the way they’re supposed too.
…And of course, we will feel terrible for Qawa or whoever else needs to go back and revise the old cockpit models.

meanwile… AOA, G’ and VVI fixed in 3dpit

The picture in the message of Tronald Dump is an AJ37, SH37 or SK37. This is a first generation, year 1980, JA37 cockpit:
monochrome displays, but already a moving map. -

I should have recognised the cockpit. ‘Flown’ it for about 30 minutes. Great experience! The ‘G’-simulator is very immersive.

Today the first (and hopefully not the last) hour of testing by a real life Viggen pilot was done. The basics of the flight model are quite good, but there is some room for improvement. I hope that it can be done within the current flight model.
A quote from KimKiller, who assisted him with the BMS install: “He did some runs against russian bombers at 25000 ft and here he said that it performed very close to the real jet.” That is what you like to hear -

I am trying to get another comparison of the FM to the real thing, with the help of the guys at the museum at F21 (squadron 21) in Luleå, who have a JA37Di cockpit (the real deal) connected to the official simulator of which the flight model has been tested and approved. The comparisons have yet to start, but the first comment of the operator was: ‘it’s by far the best looking virtual cockpit I’ve ever seen of a JA37Di’. Compliments go to Qawa. who did this magnificent job!
Now it’s a matter of comparing the behaviour in BMS to the official simulator.
Here are some pics:

What of the status of project? All the 3D models are done?
-
The JA37Di is part of 4.33. But I just found out from somebody, who has the current 4.33 on his rig, that the U95 jammer isn’t implemented. I did send in the 3D model+ texture. I’ll try to find out why it isn’t ingame yet.

Have fun! Maybe a simple overlooked feature, happens so often when Beta testing/developing.
