MFD'S Question
-
Checked there and there’s nothing there’s no where to change it. Hummmm!
You didnt check very well, then. Its in there. Avionics Configurator, select the block you wish to fly, click MFDs at the top, check the Color MFDs box.
Might want to back up the files first, because this edits the ACDATA files, which can be an issue for MP if the host requires ACDATA files to not be modified.
Or you know, just fly a newer jet. Like Agave Blue said, CCIP jets (40/42/50/52 for BMS) have the color MFDs.

Okay thanks for the info, and I’ll will do what you have just told me. Does including the Training Aircraft too with MDF’s? I don’t want the Green MFD’s, I just the original colors. Is the Original MFD’s is it a monochrome? No I didn’t take a screenshot yet.

Green monochrome is the ‘original’ MFD afaik.

Okay here is my my screenshot that I just took.
Hey, I have gone into the …/User/config/falcon bms.cfg, I looked this;
set g_bEnableColorMfd 1 to set g_bEnableColorMfd 0. And I did not find it in there.

1 is color on. 0 is color off.
BlueWolf is saying go to the Launcher menu and choose Avionics Configurator, then configure your selected block from there. However, as he points out, that may change the AC Dat file which may cause multi-player issues.

Aloha Agave_Blue, I done of what BlueWolf mention in this thread. I made a back of the AC Dat file. I have gone to the Launcher menu and chosen the Avionics Configurator then I selected the block; F16C Blk 52+ CFT PW229 in the Avionics Config in there on the Tabs I selected the MFD Tab. I have put a check mark in the color box and save a new profile of it and load it, and close it. I started the Falcon BMS did a ramp start completed it and the MFD’s still is green… I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong still. I must be really stupid or something.

The only thing you are doing wrong it would seem is you are flying the wrong block.

Screenshot, Okay sorry for been so new to this game Blu3wolf. How are I get the right block? Is there a youtube video in show how to do this?
-
When you create a TE, you choose what sort of aircraft it is populated with… if you are using the training missions that come with BMS, I can tell you right away they dont have F-16C block 52+ w/ CFTs in there. Should say in the training manual.
Alternatively, fly a campaign with blocks 40 and onwards, and you will have color MFDs, no tweaking required. Fly a dogfight, fly instant action, whatever. You only need the configurator if you want to change what sort of avionics a specific block has, and it sounds like you want to fly a new plane, not configure older planes.

Thanks you Blu3wolf, I went into the Campaign and I do have the color MFD’s that I wanted to see and have. Again Blu3wolf, thank you.
What is the most popular block that everyone is using for online multiplayer and campaigns? I don’t mine using the old blocks…
