No steering

I have 2 questions

1 After landing i cant steer the plane in either direction, although the rudder is moving when looking from the outside
2 I have made a simple TE taking off from Seosan at dusk. When coming around to land again the runway lights switch off ,sometimes, and when they do , only after contacting the tower, it switch on again. If there is a specific reason for that?

Should be Shift / to engage NWS…

Runway lights are set to only turn on once contacting the tower. That is RL operation for certain fields.

Use the Shift + / key to activate the Nose Wheel Steering if your keys are the same. Just remember on landing don’t activate the nose wheel steering till you decelerated to 60 knots. For take off make sure you turn it off before you throttle up to your after burners and lastly just on the bottom right of the Glass of your HUD you will see a light turn on and off when you press Shift + / that light indicates whether Nose Wheel Steering is on or off.
