T-Flight Hotas X - my throttle is not reading in 4.33
-
Hi-
I plugged in my T-flight hotas x into usb port, fired up 4.33 and went to the setup screen. The throttle input is not registering on the controller screen and when i try to fly I can’t increase power using the throttle axis (resulting in airplane ground collision shortly thereafter). The throttle does register in the thrustmaster control panel and also works just fine in Falcon 4 Allied Force. Not sure how to get this working. I’m a complete noob at this fine game so have some patience with my probably stupid question.
TIA

Hi, I also have this joystick, and play with it “everyday”.
When you go to setup> controllers, click in advanced, then go to the tab “flight control” and set the throttle to the “Z” axis, and I believe you are done… Set other axis to other functions as you see fit…
Hope it helps you.

Thanks that worked.

Hey you can double the buttons on that stick using THIS, read all before trying but once you nail it its fantastic.

Hi,
Thanks Kommisar for asking the precise question that bugged me when I installed Falcon a few days ago.
And Thanks also MetalHead for the fast and accurate answer !

Since I cannot afford a HOTAS Cougar or Warthog, I think of buying this one. Does it give fast aileron and elevator deflections, as that always bothered me with my Logitech Extreme 3D in Falcon BMS?
Cheers

You can easily select how stiff you want the stick to be, so you can get a full deflection with little effort if you like it better that way.

Thanks, I think that is what I asked for. Ideally, a stiffer stick would still react effortlessly in BMS, like the non AFM jets do.
