.NET Framework on WIN10 Not being recognized for HELIOS/TUSBA software installation.
-
This isn’t a BMS question per say but it pertains to using controllers in BMS with Win10.
I’ve been trying to use HELIOS since I got back into BMS but every time I try and install it, it says I need .NET Framework 2.0 Client. I was able to install it 2.0 once but it did not see it when launching the HELIOS installer. I then made sure I had all the way up to 4.5 and still no joy. I finally just gave up so I could fly.
I next bought the TUSBA to use my TQS with the Warthog stick and everything was great till I tried to use the DF switch. It doesn’t work. I have the R2 and buttons 1,6 and 9 are supposed to be on unless the DF switch is in either DF or MRM. Once put back in the center 6 should show as pressed and allow me to assign it to c for cancel. Well 1,6 and 9 are not always on. Only 1 is. So I went to Realsim to get the software that supposedly fixes this issue but once again it is asking for .NET 2.0. I downloaded the newer software and it says I need .NET 3.5??? WTF!
Has anyone else ran into this? I’m really trying to RTFM’s but I can’t get past this.
Thanks for any help y’all may have.
