G940 "Limpy" & also: force feedback? [SOLVED]
-
Ok so i fixed the issue below. Software diagnostic showed everything working.
The problem was: power supply.
I hooked the stick up to a spare laptop adapter and wow…
The second i plugged it in it revived like an old guy on Viagra. So in case anybody ever has or had the same issue of the stick working 100%, just not feeding back: get yourself a 24V power supply.
Hey guys!
Long time no see! It’s been a couple of years since i visited here. I picked up a G940 today 2nd hand for free. Wooo!
Now everything seems to work fine but the stick kinda “falls” forward when you let it go. I was wondering if this is normal or if something is broken inside…?
I’d rather consult you guys before screwing it open (and up).
I also did a forum search on the Force Feedback it’s supposed to have but that didn’t yield many results. Is that available in 4.33, and if so, where can i enable it?
Thanks in advance for your help!
(Also mods: if this is in the wrong place feel free to move it…sorry, it’s been a while…)

Hi
Also, remember that the joystick has a sensor (opposite to the S4 button) that detects if you are actually holding the joy.
If you stop covering that sensor by letting your hand go, the force feedback stopsRegards, Dani
PS: once again, shame on logitech for giving up on that flight system!
