I have been flying BMS for a few years now. Off and on with that other combat simulator. As a recently retired pilot from the airlines and then several years flying corporate jets, I have to attest the incredible job that the devs have done with Falcon BMS.
For example returning to base with several other flights and watching ATC work everybody into a single runway like that at Aviano. In my career I have been in the line up trying to get into places ORD, DFW, JFK, LHR. and MIA with thunderstorms in all quadrants. Airframe icing and holding. ATC in BMS has hit a home run. Nothing compares.
A big thank you to the Devs.

RE: Heading Bug Boogie
@dumba Mysteriously my keyfile changed in settings. I went back to correct keyfile and that fixed it.

RE: Heading Sync
@kenguan Thanks for reading the question correctly. The concern however is not about slaving the HSI but rather the heading bug displaced on the HSI. Regards.

Interactive Maps
Just wondering how people are referencing and using the maps. Just during briefings or when the mission is active.

F15 Nosewheel Steering Disable
I understand that by holing down (whatever switch you have mapped) that you can disable NWS during takeoff roll. I have tried to map but nothing seems to work.

@SoBad No sarcasm intended. Sorry for my haste in posting and poor wording. Most frustrations in Sims are the regular interruptions within the household. Hard to keep focused.

RE: F15 Start Issue
@airtex2019 Finally got to implement your suggestion above. So, as of just now the issue is solved. Thanks for the help.

RE: F15 Start Issue
@Kavelenko I guess I have more to learn. How does one invoke the “Release” input? Never mind. I figured it out. Many thanks.

RE: F15 Start Issue
@airtex2019 Thanks again for your thoughts. Just to be more specific, Hot fix 2 was employed before I started to look at the F15.
Idle cutoff/idle detent works perfectly in the Viper.
I enjoy the learning process of a cold start. As a retied real world pilot I guess that I am just wired that way. In reality, when flying multi player we always go in Taxi so I will seldom start the Eagle mission from the Ramp. I will give it another look later today.
Many Thanks! -
RE: F15 Start Issue
@airtex2019 Using 4.37.3
and… AnalogIdleCutoff 1 is affirmative.

F15 Start Issue
Status: VKB Stecs Throttle
Mapping: Throttles split and both axes set in Alt/ Launcher
L/R engines Idle cutoff axes mapped same
When right engines gets to 25%, right throttle will not move out of idle cutoff until I move the left throttle to idle. Then right engine, following left throttle, starts normally.
In order to get a normal engine start on left engine I must move it back into idle cutoff which then shuts down the right engine.
Following F15 Engine start check list verbatim.
Any thoughts?
Many thanks. -

RE: F15 Nosewheel Steering Disable
@Icarus Sure, Paddle switch (on Wart Hog Hotas) already mapped to NWS disable. Thought that it needed to be mapped separately. That make you happy?
