RE: HELIOS PROFILE FOR BMS 4.35 by weepop
Don’t know what the problem could be . what do you get when you click the link???
When I click it takes me straight to my files in mediafire. Expand by clicking small arrow to right of folder “BMS upgrade to 4.35”It just took me to the main mediafire page. I even created an account (in case this was the culprit) but, then, if I’m logged in, the link just takes me to my empty folders. Should your files be shared or sth? Again I’m not familiar with Mediafire proceds.
Thank you

RE: HELIOS PROFILE FOR BMS 4.35 by weepop
Thank you @weepop, one more time!
Sorry to bring this up though, but the link it either doesn’t work or I’m too noob with mediafire procedures (which is possible:P).
Can you help me on that? -
RE: Version 4.35 configuration fails to open
Problem solved!
It only needed to set the Config.exe to run in compatibility mode for Windows Vista (any of the available options).
And no “Run as administrator” setting is needed to anything.
Thank you @schnidrman for your interest!
It seems my older Windows version is OK, although it will be updated soon -
RE: Version 4.35 configuration fails to open
Update: error code 740 is related to elevated permission requirements. So I made sure that the shortcut as also the two related .exe files have been set to ‘run as administrator’.
Now, when I select ‘configuration’, while the message doesn’t appear, nothing happens though.
In the task manager, an “F4Patch Application (32 bit)” process starts with each attempt to launch the ‘configuration’ selection, resulting in multiple such processes running simultaneously, but without a configuration window ever appearing. -
RE: Version 4.35 configuration fails to open
Thanks Arty,
but this doesn’t seem to be the case.
I repeated un/installation two more times making sure that I had disabled the real-time protection beforehand this time, but again, same error message…
No one else had this? -
