Hello. I’ve seen this issue before in Assetto Corsa and it’s solved by using Alt-Enter to force full screen mode.
This doesn’t work in BMS.
I have a GTX1070, is there any way to fix this please?
Thanks a lot.
Hello McGraw,
First of all, you may give extra information about your OS and hardware such as intel or AMD cpu and gtx 1070 nvdia etc, so people may help you what the problem is.
Secondly, Assetto Corsa is a new game and it has new engine and compatible with new hardwares but Falcon is not so you can crash when press the alt-tab.
In your problem is that you cannot switch the window mode to Full screen mode.Solution is you have to select your best resolution for you in Falcon> Setup in 2D and you have to remove “-window mode” in your file directory.
I hope that you will solve the problem
Good luck!
I used your profile for warthog.(…tmc).Everything is normal and every coomand works well but i formated the pc and then install falcon and target script editor. After apply your profile, throttle idle detent does not work.
Actually phscially throttle idle position (not full back just back) but in the sim setup, axis shows full back…
i mean that how can i add 5% deadzone ? your codes does not match the falcon i think…
i hope to say understandable…(sorry for language)…
Thanks a lot
i think this video shows more clearly … .
i solved it
HOW TO SOLVE ;
1-Uninstall Thrustmaster and saitek drivers (do not unplug the joystick throttle and rudder pedal)
2-Uninstall Target Script Editor and Logiteck (Saitek) Software
3-Unplug all devices (Joststick, Throttle and Rudder pedal)
4-Restart Computer
5-Install Thrustmaster and saitek drivers (The squence is firs TM and then Saitek)
NOTE : while installing TM driver, you have to plug joystick firstly
6-Install TM and Saitek Software
That’s OK .
From what I see I your video,in the BMS control panel, the device selected is Thrustmaster Root. This usually indicates that there is a bug interfering with target. This bug is usually caused by teamspeak.
See this thread for solutions.

i know this thread but there is no solution here…:(

Dear Friends,
I formatted the pc and install latest Nvidia driver Now everything is normal.
I take 144 Fps on the UI …
Thank you for your attentions.
Any profile in Nvidia settings or any changes at all at Nvidia settings?
Fraps I wouldn’t suggest it. New card new drivers ultra resolution… I don’t know how updated it is and how accurate.
U r sure 100% that u did a clean install? Clean install is different than simple Install.
U must select (tick) the clean install option when u install the drivers. Also a system restart is obvious after this.
In custom setup don’t install anything else but just the VGA driver. No gforce experience no Nvidia audio no 3d surround.
Also u might try older drivers .
Have u changed the DPI persent for fonts from windows settings?Στάλθηκε από το MI 5 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk
I have no profile for Nvidia settings and i have no change anything
I am sure that i have a clean install and i just install Graphic driver (Untick HD Studio,Phyx, geForce Epx .etc.)
I have default DPI for fonts from windows settings…
Finally now i think that i have to format the PC to solve this problem…:(…I have no no other senses…:(
Just a wild shot in the dark here, but if your GUI doesn’t work but the rest of the app does then the most obvious difference graphically is the aspect ratio. The GUI if 5:4 but the app is 16:9 …. on my AMD card I have an auto scaling setting that will attempt to fill the screen (I assume change 5:4 to 16:9, I haven’t tried it). I am wondering if you might have something like that happening which is causing the flickering. I guess one question would be is “what aspect ratio is your GUI?” Like I said, a wild guess… good luck, your problem must be frustrating. Oh, how do you read FPS in the GUI? I can only get it in BMS when in cockpit.
Sorry to hear its that bad, and yes it is a conundrum that might be hard to fix.
Have you enabled G-Sync or is it auto enable?
Do you have the option to connect the monitor via another cable type ? DVI ? or HDMI ?
Valky,
my aspect ratio is 16:9 and falcon default aspect ratio is 4:3 so i saw it with black bar.I will try strecth the screen and without strecth the screen but nothing change…:(
Add : Fraps shows FPS in the UI.
Shadow,
I enabled G-Sync but it is same
I disenabled G-Sync but it is same again.
Finally,
I connected the monitor with HDMI cable but again nothing change…:(
Was a long shot buy worth the try…… Try running it window mode and see if this still happens… Just add -window at the end of the Target line which is in the properties for your game icon…

I tried in window mode but nothing change :(…
Hmmmm something to try, might not help but this has helped me with many other games too is to remove the geforce experience software…. I have for the last 8 months or so only run the drivers and since then had ZERO issue in any games since… before removing it… has fps issues, had some games not work at all, and had some with random screen glitches. Give it a try… I know some people have it installed with no issues but for me, removing it took a world of pain away!
Just something to try!
I uninstalled Nvidia driver and gForce Exp. and then i make a clean install nvidia driver without gForce exp. but nothing change…UI is giving me less than 13 fps and screen is flashing…:(…
How bad is your UI FPS ? Does make a difference to flight creation or is it Input lag that is the issue?
Shadow,
Inside the UI i have take less than 13 FPS so flight creation, dogfight option, campaing, etc are freezing and flash the screen all the time but when i enter the 3D(Actual flight in cockpit or orbit cam) there is no problem, everything is normal…
What i did;
-Delete all Nvidia driver and geforce experience
-Install Nvidia driver and geforce experience
-Default settings for Nvidia
But nothing change…
My system is i7 6700k processor,EVGA GTX 1070 SC graphic Card,Gskill 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 Ram and my monitor is DELL S2716DG 2560*1440, 144HZ G-Sync.(it is connected via Display Port)
Classic case of the old saying “you can please some the people some of the time”
I don’t understand your sentences…What do you say about me?
Yes actually i have a problem and i don’t want to take people’s time…Just understand what the problem in my PC is.
I need just help.
Thank you.
Not entirely sure what the problem would be…… sounds like a driver issue. So far as I know this is a new one and cannot deter without looking at your Nvidia settings related to your setup what the issue would be. Wish I could be of more help… Something isn’t right for sure!
I had the same issue you describe, and the same graphics card. I didn’t get any help with my issue from the forum but I did find a solution as described here
Alternatively, delete the Nvidia profile and just use the in-game MSAA & AF settings, it still looks great but prevents the card taking rendering load off your CPU so you’ll get lower FPS.
Thank you Unleashedcode and Lucky15,
I uninstall the nvidia driver compeletly and restart the pc and then install old driver instead of the latest one.Yes i can use a 3D settings now. Another problem is inside the Falcon UI page there is a less than 13 fps but in 3D everything is normal…How can i increase just UI fps ?
If you are wondering about the Nvidia settings and the graphics settings in BMS, this video provides useful instructions (alongside the BMS manual of course):
Dear Tachyon,
I saw your video (
). It was amazing .Thanks But i have a problem when i configure what you said in your video on the NVDIA 3D management page…i set the configuration like you and apply on the Nvdia panel and then launch the Falcon BMS launcher but nothing happens Falcon cannot run…If i dont edit anything on the nvdia panel,Falcon BMS works perfectly…How can i solve this problem? Thank you…
