Should be able to clear it on the MFD test page. I don’t think it means anything.

RE: What Should I Do?
So long as the skies are free from air threats, I’d target the air defense first. Make this first priority. I mean you can’t make attack runs if you’re getting shot down from AD all the time.
In Israel, you’ll be up against the Patriots and SA 10s so you’ll want to learn how to fly the Delilah as well as the other MITL weapons.

RE: Why not make an in depth Tutorial for the simulator ?
@Chu:
There are so many documents and they all have hundreds of pages, I don’t know where to start. I could just go from top to bottom, whichever order its sorted out in the folders, but i wont be done till 3 decades from now. I need something to aim for
Start small and slow. Learn simply what panel is what. Then give a ramp start a try! You got this.

RE: Why not make an in depth Tutorial for the simulator ?
Complex things (such as the F-16) can be frustrating. In your situation the first thing I would do is get a stick. You say you want to get serious about it? Don’t go ultra cheap. Doesn’t mean you have to go out and grab that Warthog but something that you can map most HOTAS functions. In addition to that, having somewhat of a decent throttle will obviously help you control your speed. Flying formation, air refueling, flying corner speed and deploying ordinance (just to name a few) will require some “touch” with the throttle.
I’d also advise that if available, download the manuals to your smartphone or a tablet. It’ll allow you to fly, pause, read, fly and so on. This includes the brevity manual. Save yourself down the road by learning the lingo. You don’t need to know all of it, mainly the air stuff. Don’t try to rush through the books, you’ll miss things which will likely compound your frustrations. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.
I’ll add more later after the kiddo gets up and going and I’ve had my coffee. But keep with it. Nice and easy. One thing at a time

RE: Launch issue.
Ok so……Error Code 3: The system cannot find the path specified. [ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND (0x3)]
From what I’ve been able to find this error is generally caused by a corrupted registry or system file. Honestly Chaser the overall quickest fix to this problem would to be to back up your user folder in BMS and do a clean install. Here in the forum (somewhere) is a link for a download to a “BMS clean registry” exe file that will clean up the registry so you don’t have any residual conflicting bms registry files. Prob going to be your quickest fix all in all.
Roger that. Currently downloading Teamviewer so you can do it for me :uham:

RE: Launch issue.
It’s a new one on me, but others who have seen it have pointed the finger at anti-virus software.
Are you (an unpaid beta-tester for Microsoft) using Windows 10, with Defender enabled by any chance?
I do but I always have as well and hadn’t seen this until now. As long as IVC will auto launch from Hub.exe (which I think it will) I’ll work around it until I get the motivation to clean install.
Thank you for responding Darkman. Next pint is on me.

RE: Support for saitek x52?
My joystick is not recognized in the game.
It is a Saitek x52 joystick/throttle combo.
Love it so far.
Just installed and the graphics are great.
intel i7-7700 w/ geforce 1080I use the X-52 and have no issues. Simply plug n play.
Is it working on the desktop? Do you have the drivers installed? We need more information.

RE: Launch issue.
What happens when you double-click on Hub.exe? Does it start?
It will launch via Hub.exe with the option of 32/64 bit however, “Configuration” is grayed out.

RE: Falcon 4.33 U1 Load Issues
Has anyone figured this out yet? I am having this same problem. I’m running U4 on windows 10 btw since this is an old post. I only get it with the F18 on multiple mission types. I tried changing loadout, no help. I tried joining after takeoff and during that mission I got shot down and ejected, shortly after Falcon BMS crashed to desktop.
When it comes to the Hornet what I usually do is launch the campaign with an F-16 squadron. Then let the campaign run a few minutes in 2d. Then switch to a Hornet squadron via OOB. I do that a couple times and I’m able to launch the campaign with Hornets right a way.

Launch issue.
I’m getting this launch issue when I try to start Falcon from the desktop or the start menu. The current “work-around” is to go into the Bin\x64 folder and launch it from there. This also forces me to launch IVC manually and all the fun that comes with that. I discussed this with my squadron last night during training and we couldn’t figure out what the deal is. Any thoughts???
I appreciate any responses.

RE: DEAD Missions - How to get KS-19 radars to light up?
Yeah I’d go JSOWs all the way on this one. You can stand off and get a lot of em and you’ll probably get the Fire Can while you’re at it.
That is so long as you have the proper air cover.

RE: Ejecting

RE: Fighter Sweep
To be brutally honest, I may have just shorted my last second of my approach to smack into the tail of CVN-70. Will try again.
Lol. I’ve had my fair share of smacking into carriers in my early BMS days. I never did get a dereliction of duty though (assuming that’s what you meant by citation). I did get however get one the other day for crashing into the “air” between some skyscrapers avoiding SAMs. Thankfully I didn’t lose any rank or all that many points. I guess I was too close and it obviously counted as a collision.
Anyway, ACMI is your friend. It helps you learn from your mistakes. Equally important, it helps you make fun of your buds when they make em!

RE: How Cargo aircrafts effect logistics in the campaign?
nobody answers my question:(
Probably because no one knows the answer lol. Good question though.

RE: Fighter Sweep
Did you actually crash into another jet or just crash into the deck? I seem to recall at least a few instances where I’d be stuck on the launch bar after landing only to have the subsequent planes land right through me.
