what you describe here is exactly the same as what happened to me while installing 4.33.
Do you actually use Comodo Firewall? Try to shut it down or switch the application (Falcon Setup) to safe in the Firewall menu.

As soon as I disabled all modules everything went as planned.

I cannot think of words to thank you enough!

If someone else finds this same problem disable all modules in comodo. Exiting the aplication is not enough.

I’ve already tried the solution in this post as it seems the same problem but from a previous version and didn’t work. It’s the first time I’m installing it in this pc.

Detailed Description
While trying to Install Falcon Bms 4.34 the setup is unable to continue due to not being able to create a directory.

I’ve run it as an administrator.
I’ve set full permissions to the folder and setup file.
I’ve tried to install it to the desktop, or somewhere permissions are not required but the error is always the same.
I’ve tried “Read this if your installer does not let you continue the installation”.
If I create the directory manually setup only copies a file named “setup.ver” with a lot of numbers in it, and says it’s done. The rest of the folder remains empty.
I’ve also created a new partition “D:” and tried to install it there, but the error was the same.

If I accept the prompt nothing happens.

I suggest, take a look at Krauses YT Videos.
Then, read in your FalconBMS/Docs/FalconBMS Manuals/Dash1 and BMS Manual.
Also in your Falcon4.0Legacy read the original Manual for Training scenarios, do them ingame. When you have specific problems/questions, you know already where to get the information you need.

Many suggest a Squadron to get the things fast and tight in your head.

Welcome.

My best suggestion would be to do some reading and test flights. Then join a squad and they assist in teaching the finer points MP flight.

There should be a VFS “sticky” thread somewhere here. Artys “hot list” should a few squads listed and there time zones.

Also Kruases vids on youtube are most helpful.

Unfortunately I don’t have the time to commit to a vfs… I’ll have to learn it with manuals…

I’m going to have some free time soon, and I would love to really learn this the right way. I did use the search button, but either I’m terrible at it, or I just can’t seem to find something like: You’re new? Want to learn how to fly? Then, read X, Y Z, W, and that should do it…

If someone could just point me in the right direction, beacause I don’t want to read obsolete manuals. So, is there any order, and/or manuals I should read in the first place, and if so, what manuals do I have to read… A little list would really help, and since I don’t mind reading in my free time, feel free to throw everything at me
