I Guess thats the setup.exe and yes I do see the uninstall option….I also see that I have all 7 updates for 4.32. I’ll give it a try. Thanks!!

What is proper uninstall procedure for 4.32 u1-u5
I currently have BMS 4.33 u1-u4 loaded and want to uninstall 4.32 u1-u5….does anyone know is there is a “Proper” uninstall procedure needed to accomplish this and what it is.
I also have the initial 4.33 loaded and can this be removed as well using the same procedure? I dont want to foul up my 4.33 u1-u4 install.
Or am I better off just leaving it alone. -

Just tried it. I have the same experience but i did a boresight first and then tried it.
It happens for every Maverick, not just once per station.
Boresight also didnt help. The Mav in itself is kinda difficult now if it jumps around and you have to search your target twice per shot.Yup, I tried boresight first as well and it still twitches in FCR, hit CZ and all….the twitch is pretty dramatic at times. Frustrating!

Oh yes probably once per station per flight. Each station having its own misalignment.

Yes and it does. The “twitch” is the Mavericks remembering “oh right I was supposed to be misaligned slightly.” It only happens the first time. If the code was a little more air tight you’d never notice it.
When you say “it only happens the first time” it will twitch on each single station mav load then? I guess I can try it but I’m not in front of the game computer.

Hhhmmm… I love slow work days when I can play in the manuals. Dash 34 pp.156-161 are pertinent but I didn’t find an obvious answer.
Just to confirm, you are in PRE delivery mode and you have Cursor Zero’d (Dash 34 p.167) preengagement?Yup, In Pre and tried CZ as well…also tried this in 4.32 just to check it out and everything worked fine, no crosshair jump, slew worked smoothly. Is it mandatory to boresite mavs with TGP in 4.33 if you only plan to use the FCR?? I didnt do that but that shouldnt make any difference.

Good Day, Sackman- Are you moving the SOI to the Mav before you try to slew it?
Yes, as soon as I hit tms up on the FCR to lock an area up the Mav screen becomes SOI. The position of the mav crosshairs are close to the FCR target area but as soon as
I hit the slew it jumps way off target area. I also hit tms up before I slew and it still jumps. -

Mavs loaded…When I use the FCR (not TGP) to lock a target in a general area, as soon as I hit my slew to try to fine tune the mav crosshairs to the proper target the crosshairs jump way out of the lock area. So much so that its difficult to find what I was locked onto the first time. Happens every time, even if I hit tms up first, is it not ground stabilizing? After that first jump the slew works fine, but I am way outside the target area as I said. Looking for some help here.

Information overload with 4.33….Carrying GBU 10’s, suppose there was a target of opportunity well before you reached your mission steer point target. How do you go about locking up that target of opportunity and hitting it using the TGP. I read over the SPI management pages and get confused. Do you have to set it up as a mark point target first or what?

It is my understanding it is. I prefer to use the FCR and WPN to Boresight…appears easier.
Info: Not sure if you fired the Maverick in 4.32. It was a lot easier. Just lock the target with the WPN and fire. You were able to ripple as many as you can based on your quickness.
Yes, 4.32 is much easier and I never had a problem with any ordinance, thats why the post…4.33 is another learning curve…and I dont like reading this stuff on a CRT.

Should work, but the target needs to be ‘in the keyhole’ for the Mav seeker …. check docs on Mav employment for keyhole parameters.
If the cross in the Mav weapon page (video) is flashing, you won’t get a good track.
(Pretty sure I’ve got that right; all new to me too. )
Thanks, I get information overload reading thru all this stuff and yes, I forgot that the cross should NOT flash to be on gimble……the cross was close but the shots were way off line.

Firing Mav question
In 4.33, can you simply fire a Mav using the FCR as a lock and adjusting your Mav to the target w/o going thru the tgp boresight process? Seems that when I change a strike loadout in the campaign from gbu’s to ag65d’s and lockup random targets on the FCR most Mav fall way off target, and yes, the tgt is locked and the cross is flashing in the Mav screen.

Thanks, works now…but I cant understand why it didnt work when I mapped the second detent previously. I did have some difficulty saving the file when I set up all my custom
mapping. No matter, its working now. 4.33 is an outstanding product!!! -
Gun trigger mapping issue
I have a simple, older, sidewinder precision 2 joystick that worked very well in 4.32 but in 4.33 I cant get the gun trigger mapped to fire the guns.
4.32 was mapped to WPN- Fire Gun which is not in 4.33 keystroke map. It only has STICK: First and second trigger detent which I tried with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated. -
