Your not the first to have issues.
I have heard from some users that althougt they had a steady pointing cross and valid target range, the mavericks would miss.
I came across a video recording of an unsuccessful maverick kill. What I observed was that at some point, the lock was lost for prior to launch. The (v) pilot took only the range and steady pointing cross into consideration, but fail to see that the BSGT mnemonic that was missing adjacent to OSB 20.
The pointing cross does not indicate a valid lock, but valid launch gimbal limits for a locked target.
BSGT and the tracking gate “bounding” the target indicated indicate a valid lock.
Could this be your problem ?
