Does anyone know if keyspeech would have the same problem? Iām also from Germany and thinking about getting it.

RE: Morphine's Profile
The only time I ever see the fast taxi on pit entry anymore is when I forget to cycle the throttle from idle to mil to idle during the load screen to pit. As long as I do that I will only be moving a bit when I enter 3D and can quickly stomp on the brakes and be all good.
Hm, strange. In my case this exact behavior causes my aircraft to cross half the airbase in full AB:lol:

RE: Morphine's Profile
AB and Idle Cut Offs are set properly. And the only problems appearing are the ones mentioned above.
So when would be the right time to hit the brakes? -
RE: Morphine's Profile
Hi.
I have a strange problem when flying online. Iām using profile based on a sort of āblankā profile including the cutoff code that Morphine kindly provided me with.
Offline everything is working fine, but when iām flying online and start with taxi/runway my aircraft starts rolling immediately. When i pull the throttle completely back and forth before entering the loading screen the aircraft rolls really fast, so i guess doing so i engaged full AB, at least that would explain the behavior. But the Aircraft also starts rolling if i donāt move the throttle at all. With a light payload it even starts rolling when i hold the wheelbrakes while loading.Has anyone else encountered this, and if yes, come up with a solution?

RE: HELLPP !! NEWBI ON TARGET SCRIPT
Hello DracEncula,
Like Frederf said, you have the option to either include or exclude the Joystick in your Profile. The better option in my opinion is to exlude the Joystick.
As far as i know, Windows limits the number of DX buttons per device to 32. I have only the Throttle in my script and even here i had to compromise and bind some keyboard mappings on the Throttle in order to use most of the switches in their different positions and avoid using to many ātoggle functionsā especially for crucial functions like Masterarm, Cat 1/3 etc.
For example on the Autopilot switch down right i have 3 DX Buttons for each of the 3 Masterarm switch positions.
But there is another advantage in doing so. I am quiet a lazy guy i and using this method you can easily map the joystick within the sim itself. Or you could use Kolbeās DX Generator for the joystick. If my memory serves me right, the Warthog Joystick has all the mappings just like the F16 Side Stick Controller anyway.
For the mappings of the Throttle there is also a very easy method. You can just map the buttons within the Target Gui.
What i did was using Morphineās Script as a basis because i really like his axis mappings especially the cutoff functionality. I then created a new Script using the Target Gui, mapped the Buttons and Switches there to my liking, opened the created keyfile and then justy copied and pasted the button/switch mappings into Morphineās script.
Itās a really easy method and it works like a charm.Hope this helps.
Have a nice Easter and many happy landings.

RE: DX or Target Profile
Sry for the late reply. At least for once i wanted to reply with a succes instead of a new question.
I canāt thank you guys enough for your help. Everythingās as it should now:headb:
With your permission iād like to post it in the forum.Regards D_Fens

RE: DX or Target Profile
Frederf, thanks a lot, that seems like a great solution :bowd:
Could have come across that myself but well, as i said i have that tendency to make simple things complicated.
My idea would have been to add additional lines with key presses for the missing positions, but your idea sounds much more elegant and easier to apply.
Only problem would be switches like the MRM and DF override function which donāt have toggle functionality. But i think that could be solved by using a āhybrid methodā.
For functions like the ones on the FLAPU switch just the DX buttons as suggested by you and key presses where there is no toggle functionality.
As for the sync problem, i donāt think that it actually is to much of a problem if you check, if your switches are in sync at rampstart, or any procedure where you would have to check the correct position of the switches anyway. Plus actually having to check the position of an actual physical switch should add a lot to immersion. The versatility of this hotas is really amazing. Especially in combination with this forum and all those great guys helping out newbies
Thanks a lot for all your guys help :bowd:

RE: DX or Target Profile
Hi Morphine,
Thanks a lot for your help and the profiles.
Yesterday i got it to work for a short time, but still ran into some trouble.
If I use your keyfile BMS still doesnāt recognize input frome the throttle but I guess thatās just some problem with the device numbers. The throttle alias Thrustmaster combined is listet as the first, the joystick as the second device. I just copy pasted my dx commands as created with Kolbeās spreadsheet into his Keyfile and in conjunction with your target profile it worked.Problem is that BMS doesnāt recognize certain switch positions. For example only the ARM position of the EAC switch is recognized. Obviously the problem is, that only this poition is recognized as a DX button. I realize that this is a windows/BMS related problem.
But i would really want to use the switches in all positions listed in the spreadsheet.
I also realize that I (probably) have to use a target profile to make the switches work as i want them to. And iām definitely willing to learn how to use the script editor to make the most use of my warthog. Thereās only two things that iād like to avoid: First making things more complicated than need be and more important: to spend hours learning how to use the editor and creating a script just to see that iām trying to make something work, thatās just not possible due to limitations.I have attached my desired profile. Sry for the size but i didnāt know how to export it more āreadableā from the spreadsheet :wfish:
1: Are functions like the ones mapped to the flapu switch or the ENG OPER switches actually possible as mapped in the picture below?
2: Looking at your profile i see that for example you managed to make both āphysicalā positions of the EAC work. How did you achieve this?
My idea would be that thereās one command for the ARM position which gets recognized as a button press by windows and then in the script an additional command for the button release when switching to the OFF position. Would that actually work?Sry for the long post and all the questions. Brief answers should suffice. Actually i only want to have some verifications to avoid wasting days of work just to realize, that i have been trying to achieve something impossible or that i make things unnecessarily complicate.
I promise to try and bother you as less as possible in the future:rolleyes:
Help would really be appreciated.Regards D_Fens

RE: DX or Target Profile
Tried morphineās profile but it didnāt work for me and i usually prefer creating my own profiles anyway.
Ok, so i thought iād give it a try and created a profile using only DX-commands with the keyfile.
But iād like to keep the idle cutoff functionality and the throttle axis as programmed in his target file. I removed the key mapping and everything but the axis. Now when i run the script i donāt have the dx mappings from my keyfile anymore
Do i have to map the keys for the throttle within the script editor or did i just mess up the syntax or something?Regards Stranger
