Saitek x55 throttle problem
-
Hey guys, i have some problem about saitek x55 's throttle. When i assigned the keys in control menu to the keys of saitek x55, during the flight, throttle doesnt work. I have a profile that work well but when i assigned new keys to any keys of throttle or joystick my throttle start to not working. Is there anybody who has the solution ? Please help.

Please be specific, you’re talking about both throttle axes “not working”? As in, no response in the axis value? Any key any button causing this?
-
Also, tell us what you have selected as the controller under the setup tab.

It looks working in the control menu but in flight it doesn’t work.

At first I choose stick and select advenced menu

Still awaiting the answer to my thread above.

Is it still stick…or is now throttle?

I’ve selected stick

Ok…just to clarify, is it the buttons or is it the thrust not working as stated by b4dshot?

Assuming you want to use axis control for (Left) Throttle, select the primary controller (pitch & bank) in the drop down menu in settings. Under ADVANCED select the appropriate axis for the Throttle axis assignment and verify that the horizontal indicator bar moves when you move the selected controller axis. Verify again after leaving the advanced section that the vertical throttle indicator responds to movement of the controller throttle axis. Set afterburner level with left click on the SET AB button as desired.
If you want independent throttles for 2-engine airplanes repeat the process with a different axis for the Right Throttle axis assignment.

Concur. I used a -55 before my BMS days, and remember getting the throttle to work was problematic.
BTW, you can also right click and get idle detent, but I don’t recommend it as the -55 does not have detents. It may be ok to get an inadvertent burner blast or two, but shutting off your engine…not.
Also, BTW, if you have the Throttle attached to your pc via a USP hub, try connecting it directly.
