I forgot to shut down Avast antivir…i discovered this already in the past, but forgot it.
Now it works even in auto mode.

LOL… i have runtime error 5 with this new version
invalid procedure - unknown image format…and my updated program is crashing now ( i can see preview map only)Well i have no problem in my side, i have windows 7 x64 with SP1.
I was and still after a manual update to version 3.6.3 can open correctly my theaters without any error reported.
Maybe to try uninstall, reboot and installing it again? Or contact Sakis ;).

Where does it crash exactly? During theater loading and checking tiles?
It seems that a dds file is somehow different from the usual dds files in Korea. To find out which please use the following procedure:
1. Download a special debug exe from http://programs.sakgiok.gr/TerrainEditor/Downloads/TerrainEditor_3.6.3Debug.zip
2. Go to C:\Program Files\TerrainEditor (or C:\Program Files (x86)\TerrainEditor if 64bit OS) and rename TerrainEditor.exe to something else (e.g. TerrainEditor.ex_)
3. Unzip the new TerrainEditor.exe in the folder
4. Open TE.ini with notepad (run as administrator if OS is Vista and later) and under [SYSTEM] section add the line DEBUG=-1 (if DEBUG line exists just change the =0 to =-1)
5. After program crashes open the file Debug.txt and check for the last lines (it should be the dds it tried to open last).
6. Delete Terraineditor.exe and rename old exe as it was.
7. Change back the DEBUG line to 0 or the debug.txt will become huge. Please let me know what the problem is and if you find the dds responsible maybe you can send it to me to reproduce the error and fix it once and for all.
@Arty,
This refers to the csv output from Stations+ILS tool for printing a Theater Reference card (or whatever you want to use these data). -
Updated to v. 3.6.3 without any issue. All work flawlessly, a little more fast perhaps.I have Windows 10 pro (64bit, of course).
Well done once again, Monster. Best regards,
-
thanks Monster,
it seems the new version is sensitive to missing transparency files.
Since it is not necessary to have these files in BMS, i think u can make it more tolerant*********Debug Started at 8. říjen 2015 - 09:32:15

Well it’s just checking for transparency in the dds images to draw the Theater Preview window correctly. But that’s not the problem, it’s finishing with tile check. Maybe some issues with night tiles?
-
Maybe I found the bug. You should be missing the night tiles (some or all of them). It produces the error above if a night tile is missing anyway so I’ll post a fix soon. Tell me if that’s not the case for you.

Saki,
Is it possible to we have only an information about that (that missing the night tiles, some or all of them) but the program continues and run properly? Or this is not practicable?
Thanks a lot mate.

Nikos.Monster, I too am interested in this matter, would be useful to learn more also about this, I think.
Good point this yours, Nikos!
Best regards to all, -
I think it is not problem for Monster… and he already promised fix.
And yes, I have no night tiles in my dir (Monster told me to tell it if its NOT my case, so I was silent )
-
It should be fixed with v3.6.4. Please report if you have any issues.
-
I am sorry to say…but does old debug.exe work with 3.6.4? I have still the same crash now…
-
You don’t need the special debug exe. Just enable the debug in the ini. Are you sure you updated to 3.6.4 (antivirus stuff etc)?
-
It should be fixed with v3.6.4. Please report if you have any issues.
My friend Saki,
Thank you very much for your quick update. Now with v3.6.4 Guam theater by “demer928” and Balkans theater by “nove” works fine without the error ‘5’.
Take care mate.
Nikos. -
FYI there is an error in reporting missing tiles that will be fixed soon, but anyway this shouldn’t affect the error 5 mentioned before.
-
yes I have 3.6.4 installed.
Run-time error 5
Invalid procedure call or argument
The filespecified has an unknow image format.I will try detailed debug tomorrow.
-
Please use this exe for debug: http://server.sakgiok.gr/Downloads/TerrainEditor.exe_v3.6.4_debug.zip
I added some more output for pinpointing the problem….
