Anybody working on KC135 model?

…where it was developed from…
Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that KC-135 was actually derived from the Boeing 367-80 jet. There is more direct link to -80, than to 707.
Nonetheless, thanks Tom for giving so much to the community. I wish I had 1/2 of your talent. MRTT would be great as well.
Cheers,
Andrej

Oh come on!!!
There is quite a difference Gancio. The Dash 80 (and the Model 717 from which both the 135 and the Dash 80 were developed) has a different body shape as well as size. in fact, one can slide the entire fuselage of the KC-135 into the 707. The wing attachment on the 135 is also further forward as well as being different than the 707.
I’m just saying that I have done a lot of reading on the KC-135.
Anyway, still a nice modeling job by Tom.

Hello guys,
well- Yes. I havent much experience with tankers in BMS so I will make a try.
However- New tankers like the Airbus could be a nice challange. BTW- Airbus having a Boomer?!About the modeling: I use high res Photos as “blueprint”. So when it is looking like a Boeing … sorry- ist real life
Yes- after a angry woman, Music and French red whine:

…anyway… I can’t really wait to LodEd the stock K135 with this beauty. Many thanks Tom for your job! ( at least for 3/4 weeks):D:D:D -
Looking good Tom.
The link is incorrect. There are a few books out there explaining the pedigree. Here’s a quick Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_KC-135_Stratotanker

I’m just saying that I have done a lot of reading on the KC-135.
On a board with native English speaking devs possessed of a sense of humour, and an understanding that friendships based upon intellect need not be devoid of rhetoric, THIS is the part where I’d make the comment about “reading”.
However - I’ll just explain it, instead.
Always much funnier that way. /rimshot.

Actually, your post made me reread my post and I came up with the humorous image of yours truly riding atop a KC-135 ala “How I Learned to Love the Bomb.”
