The stadium…
Greeting
Earlybite -
I really like that! Looks good- hope you will do it for the rest of map- Well done! :headb:

Thanks sir.
Most of the tiles are still raw, but I wanted to have an overview. And I am making some experiments with colored forest, because the usable parts of the Bing map offers mostly autumn. I also want to implement waves…
So, still a lot of work to do… -
Very impresive Early… Have you thought about adding more 3D buildings?

Thanks sir. I must say, that I begin to love that work too
(Momentary ~46 tiles are “ready” (from AFAIK 147) and the uprising probem now is that it is now hard to find new crossings…)
But first I will “finish” all the city tiles (incl. river and sea lines lines) and then I would like to rework some tiles, because of the possibility to group some to have e.g. a great terrain with skyscrapers (or so).[3D-buildings] Really yes, but yet I do not know how to…
I would also really like to replace (reorganize) the existing ones, but and AFAIK needs this changes in a/the db because of targeting (or so) (I do not know yet).
(E.g. some buildings in post #2365 first pic are really existing!)
And IMHO the best would be to have a nearly original size. E.g. the stadium area is 4 times greater as in real.
So, yes, that would be great. And I think that most of the modern (also nearly modern) computers can handle this…And we need (min.) twice as many clouds I really love it to fly through…and I would really like to have a dogfight in the clouds.

@Ric:
A few old ones
A TomCat is never old…
Do someone know the BMW 635 CSI (the “old” one)? It’s (nearly) and IMHO the same…timeless beauty. -
Early morning flight back to Osan.
-
Trying to escape the miserable weather in Germany, we went for a training flight over the sunny Aegean Sea, escorting a Japanese 4-ship of F4-EJs to the Assimi training range on Crete.
Starting out of Souda, our F16 2-ship took off using the Milos departure procedure and intercepted (or rather, lined up with) the “Smokers” based at Nea Anchialos slightly northwest of Santorini.
Flight Briefing: Nothing out of the ordinary I’d say.
Closing up on our Japanese friends’ flight lead.
The sun & clouds set a fantastic early morning scenery.
Finally joined up and in position.
To think the Phantom is probably older than me and still flying… wow.
Our allies seemed to enjoy themselves, too.
My #2 lining up with the 2nd element.
Time to say good-bye with the Phantoms heading towards Heraklion whle our 2-ship was heading back to Souda. Sadly I lost my wingman to the tanker, but I finally managed to top up again (from 7,000 to 12,200 lbs of fuel), no screenshots of the refuelling as I was concentrating too much I’m afraid 8(
After a safe and relaxed touchdown, the jet is ready for inspection with yours truly already headed for the bar
Thanks again for this fantastic theater and the masterpiece that is fBMS!
All the best, Uwe
