Any IPs out there?

Hey, I’m brand new to BMS. I played 4.0 a lot back in the day, but just dug out the CD and installed BMS. This game looks great and I’m really excited to get going with it. Obviously, their is a lot to learn. I was wondering if there are any Instructor Pilots out there, or people of that caliber, that would be willing to do some MP instructor rides. Maybe a bad idea, but sound like it could be cool too.

Welcome to the forum. I’m sure you’ll find someone willing to help so long as you’re working through those manuals.

Flying online and joining a squadron is one of the best ways to learn. Where in the World are you?

Lots of people willing to share their knowledge both here on the forums and on a flight, but you’ll have to do your own reading as well to make the lessons go smoother.

As hazza stated joinin a squadron is your best bet. There is also falcon lounge which is a bit more laid back but they have a good training syllabus.

Cool. I just got my HOTAS in the mail today. Haven’t set it up yet, and am planning on buying a TrackIR soon. I’m no stranger to Flight Manuals so i’ll be looking at those in the near future as well. I’ve never done anything online with this game before, so getting that set up and figured out might be step #1.

it’s worth the trouble, IMO the sim is a hundred times as interesting with a few buddies.
falcon IMO is the best cooperative game ever made.

Getting online your first time can be quite confusing. I’d look into joint a squadron even before that because they should be able to help you out.
