Radar Cursor "Goes Stupid"
-
Using Dunc’s Courgar setup. Followed instructions for set up. Issue the radar cursors stop functioning. Its random. Messing with the Deadzone and Saturation sometimes works but not everytime. Thanks in advance!

Is this in AG or AA mode? BMS4.32 had a nasty bug with the cursor getting stuck / unsewable in AG mode sometimes….
cheers, Uwe

Happens in AA AG and Nav. Is there a work around? Also can you use 4.32 key files and cougar profiles in 4.33? Thx!
-
No, but there are a number of manuals dedicated to the topic of keyfiles, included in your install folder…
-
Maybe a hardware problem?
I know that if I don’t have my radar cursor deadzone on high it starts drifting.

Ok going through Dunc’s dpcs i noted he states “copy the Dunc_DX.keyfile to your BMS User\Config folder” - thats easy but…. there is no " Dunc_DX.keyfile" to be found in the BMS 4.33 folder, however there is a “BMS - Dunc_DX.keyfile”. Is this a typo?
-
That’s the one. Just load it in and save.

Ok applied worked for now but I’m not holding my breath

Try this, it works for me:
Okay, then I have done this!
I have 4 monitors, one with 2 MFD’s. Now running Win10 and using MFD Extractor to get video on my MFD’s and other instruments.
To get my Cougar to work I have installed Cougar Control Panel (CCP) again, and using automatic calibration. Tried manual, but my radar cursor did’t go the full range. Automatic works well. I have Profile <none>, push Apply everytime I start CCP i admin modus, turn on Emulation. In game I tried to put in Dunc file, but something happened with switches between stick and MFD’s. Programmed all switches in game again, saved the file and viola, radar cursor is all OK. Followed the game setup in Dunc’s cougar DX guide.</none>
