LAN keyboard - Touchscreen tool released
-
I want to give this application it’s own thread, so…
I couldn’t get Gigurra’s Key receiver / transmitter to work with Helios (only with notepad).
I didn’t try the latest ‘hocospocus - start this app first then this one …’, though.
So I wrote these two apps called ‘LAN keyboard’ to transmit the keyboard without these hazzles.
Last Version was free. This one is payware and solves the previous restrictions.Hope you like it:

ps: Future updates are free off course and optional mouse transmission is planned.

i would like to try it…before buying. I explain you my problem and why i am telling this.
I have a main PC running Falcon BMS, then i have a Windows tablet with windows 10 pro installed on it (so it is a tablet only in his form factor is a pc with a touch screen).
I would like to use my tablet as touch screen control using helios and mfd extractor.
Then to send the keystrokes to Falcon i was trying to use Gigurra GPT key receiver (that you mention) but the problem is that in the sim every keypress is doubled, for example if i press Left MFD key 20, in AA radar page i see the radar range go up twice (from 20nm to 80nm for example), so i would like to try your tool in order to see if i can solve the problem, then i would be very happy to pay you 4 euros for the program.
Thank you -
The accounts of all LAN keyboard owners have been receiving an upgrade to 10 purchases made.
You now should have 30 license key downloads minus the ones that you had already. This should provide you with enough installation potential for multiple devices / PCs.
You may also give some away to interested friends, if you like.Future owners just contact me, to receive the same upgrade if needed.
Cheers,

Checked my account on the Livrot website and WHOOHOO!!!
I got my LMC keys back and also more LAN keys so I can resume my testing! Thanks for sorting this out quite quickly, Torvil!! Especially as I know you’ve got a lot of other things on your plate…

Thank youUnfortunately, this seems to be a Helios problem. I can set a button to output “1” and another button to output “2” and if I use Helios and press both buttons, I get “1122” showing each button is pressed twice. However, as you can read from this post, GPT and LAN are both working as intended…. I can type out entire messages. It’s when it goes through Helios that it’s going berserk.
It’s definitely a combination of a network problem and Helios.
I can confirm Helios is working fine under Win10 as I currently have my sim setup on a Win10 PC with BMS and Helios on the same PC and everything is working fine, so it has something to do with the network.
I can confirm that the GPT and LAN programs are working fine because I can type out entire messages via those programs over the network.
But mix network and Helios and you start getting issues. My next test is to run Helios on network but have the slave PC be on Win7 instead of Win10, but considering I just finalized my current setup, I might not get to do this for a while.

Are you using mfde or what it was, by monster?
Try once without. IIRC it channeled the helios stuff over, two. But this might just be a stoned view of the past… -
Double key presses sound like press release function sends the same command thus double?
just thinking loud here. -
No, callbacks were mapped as press only and should’ve acted as press-and-release, not press-and-release-and-press-and-release.
