Hi,
I think he/it is helpful:
In (the old) Keystroke.key is it SimCommsSwitchLeft, do not know for the BMS.key file.
It needs to press ~2 sec. to activate.HTH

No panel for this. You have to type manually on the keyboard, or you bind it to your HOTAS / Joystick.
In Krause’s video is the keyboard key named…, else you can use as binding SimCommsSwitchLeft.Greeting

delete key

send DL to wingman

Thanks, but I don’t understand very well. In flight I’ll pull on the left mfd to see “cont” but….no way, there is other thing to do,I’m in BMS 4.33 keystroke.

While you have your fcr
Press the assign button to have show cont
Then hold the delete key 2-3 seconds -
Once your in CONT, hold down CTRL O together for several seconds and your wingmen should appear on you HSD.

Wasnt ctrlO for 4.32?

I use IFF out or in, can’t remember which it is off hand. As BMS doesn’t deal with IFF at the moment they set that callback to be used for initiating a data link round too. And yes hold it down for a couple seconds, you should then hear a squelch noise which indicates you’re running a datalink.

Yeah, just giving it a shot, not really sure what key or keystroke’s file you’re using??

Thanks but no way I’ll try(after cont) hold ctrl o (it’s o or zero?) try… pg… down… del …no way I’m with the IA

I would like to tell you the procedure I am using:
Press AND HOLD CommsSwitchLeft - and while holding, press ASSIGN>CONT on the MFD.
You can immediately release CommsSwitchLeft after that, without having to wait for those 2-3 seconds.
Connection will be established then.
At least it works with my X-55, but should be no difference to using the keyboard.
(If this procedure is some kind of “cheating”, please let me know.)If you want to add further planes of the same package, don’t forget to manually add them via ICP>DLINK.

Also AI will not show up on DL until they are airborne
