Thrustmaster Cougar MFD problem in Win 10
-
So after a three year hiatus from the Falcon world I’ve decided to get back in with BMS 4.3. I recently purchased a new rig and a Warthog as all of my Cougars are pretty worm out. Today I pulled the Cougar MFD’s out of storage and proceeded install them. However they keep disconnecting and connecting in an endless loop. I am using Windows 10 home. Has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks for your help!

NVM… I fixed it. I was thinking that the MFD’s were PnP but they’re not. Installed latest drivers and all is well.

Yessir it’s me! lol I got the itch to get back to flying after reading Dan Hamptons book Viper Pilot. Now I’m fighting with getting my Cougar working with Windows 10…. There’s ALWAYS a dance with F4!!

I had the same problem, it has to do with the way Win10 habdles USB power. By chance I found that starting Teamspeak solves the problem. Hope this helps.

Can you send me the link for the newest drivers. Tnx

I didn’t have to install any drivers on win7, they worked pretty much out of the box on my system.
All the best & happy new year!
