And you powered on the D model and waited for the 3 minute timeout?
-
-
@Raiden:
Yes.
Hello again. Already solved…
As there was a fault of mine; not performing the mechanics of implementation of missile correctly. Reviewing the manual I have successfully run it.
The profile works like a charm. One last question: in START procedure the throttle must be before starting the CUT OFF position right?
If I start with at idle, the engine starts but I think it is a point of acceleration and back again to idle the plane still rolling slowly, but keeps rolling. I’m right?
Thanks for the help.

If you ramp and start the engine yourself, you indeed need to have the throttle all the way back over the hump. Once the JFS has reached 20%, you move the throttle over the hump to full mill and back to idle immediately.
If you start in a hot jet (take-off taxi or take-off runway) the throttle should be just in the idle position. It is normal for the F-16 to start rolling when the engine is idle.

Perhaps there was a problem with my webhost. In either case it appears to be working now at least.

Hi Mud, I am having a strange problem where most of my buttons on the stick and some on the throttle are not recognized. While troubleshooting with a friend it seems that my 1st stage trigger is recognized by the sim as “Button 33” and 2nd stage as “Button 38” while his register as Button 1 & 2 and work perfectly with the sim.
Would you happen to have any idea as to what the problem might be?
Thanks in advance.
-
I have no clue really. The script starts properly?
-
Yes, the script compiles and executes properly, leds turn off etc.
It is strange because in the configuration page on the left, the right buttons light up (e.g. S1 for 1st stage trigger, S6 for 2nd) but on the left they are registered as Button 33 and 38.
I may have to try a clean install of my Thrustmaster drivers.
-
I’ll have a look once I’m home, but I don’t know if I’ll come up with anything valuable.
I suppose you loaded my keyfile? -
Yes, of course
Also, I tried reinstalling the drivers (clean install) and also moving the stick and throttle on USBs directly on the MB (had them on a USB hub). Problem persists.

Maybe windows reordering the controllers?

Maybe windows reordering the controllers?
Must be something along these lines, but I have no idea how to fix it. Any ideas?

HI Mud,
Thanks for sending me the info.
One small issue I am having is that my cursor does not work on the Warthog throttle in BMS.
I tested it in DCS and works fine.Am I doing something wrong?
And also, what is the best way to upload the profile every time I start Target. Is it just run configurator and setup the file?Nick

Hey Nick,
Make sure you have the cursor X & Y bound in the avionics setup:

@Mud:
And the TARGET script loads properly? No errors at the bottom?
My script simply wouldn’t load under Windows 10 on both my own and my wife’s pc until I had disabled the advanced power management for USB devices in the registry.TARGET script loads properly - “compile successful.” Reinstalled BMS, reinstalled Thrustmaster drivers & firmware. Joystick buttons still don’t work although in the sim on setup page the buttons register when selected, e.g., button 32 or button whatever. The script just isn’t detected for Cursor enable, pickle button, all DMS, TMS and CMS keys, NWS and pinky buttons on joystick. Throttle works fine except for the mic switch to use IVC VHF & UHF. All works fine in DCS A-10C. I’m thinking it’s Win 10.
Thx for your trouble & thought!
P.S. All works fine on another computer still running Win 7.
Problem solved with Frederf’s excellent help:
Open Control Panel>Hardware & Sound>View devices & printers>right click on Joystick & select Game Controller Settings. Inside window you’ll see Joystick Throttle and peds & should be in that order top to bottom, but they are not in that order thus the problem.Open Device Mngr.>select Human Interface Devices>right click on HID-compliant game controller & select disable. The disabled controller will then disappear in the Game Controller Settings window>right click on HID-compliant game controller in Device Mngr. again & select uninstal - it should then disappear in Device Mngr. as well. Go to top of Device Mngr. & select Action>Scan for Hardware Changes. Do this to all game controller devices until the right order in game controller settings window are set in correct order. This should do the trick - at least it did for me. Good luck!

Hey Mud,
I turned on the throttle off in the configurator but I still need to click Alt+i to get the engine going.
Is that normal?Nick
