SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS support thread

I love it!!!.
It sure would be nice though, to get the Payload Release/Missile Launch effect to work for the Jettison weapons in BMS. Its a conspicuously missing effect for BMS.
My only small quibble.
Hi Michael,
thanks for your feedback -
Ordered a seat with Andre. All I can say is, that’s an example of customer service. Always fast & useful replies, friendly and helping.
Have the sim shaker working for 2 days now, awesome! -
Thanks for the feedback
-
Gents, have you tried SimShaker with other BMS planes (not F-16)?
Please share your experience. -
Only have 1 sim on my entire pc, so can’t help you there.
Small feature request. The ground bumps now seem very linear. I can predict the next bump, only come faster when ground speed increases but interval seems steady. Maybe a more random bump feeling would make it a bit more realistic. -

hm… but we have regular size plates on runways and steady interval between junctions.

True, I was thinking about that too. Can you then adjust the interval when you notice you are turning. When turning I will cross a junction faster or slower.
Maybe I got a wrong impression too because the interval might be out of sync with the Polak tiles in 4.33? I got the feeling the bumps occur in a faster rate then the plates are visually shown in game. -
Are we racers or pilots here?
-
I’m a bit autistic on the matter I just noticed it when turning and taxi-ing that it felt bumpier then I saw plates passing by. Can be wrong though, just a feeling I have, not checked and measured yet.
Rolling over the runway is no issue. Goes too fast and the AB kicking shakes my ass and back anyway -

Please share your experience.I haven’t down any other BMS aircraft than F-16s with Sim Shaker, but I have noticed sometimes with different blocks that the afterburner shake happens before 100% RPM.
I’ll try a few other aircraft this weekend
-
Flame in a nozzle also happens before 100% RPM.

in an MLU for example you go to AB over 96% IIRC
-
Hi Guys,
Could someone check the F-18, Mirage2000, Tornado and perhaps the other new flyable aircrafts with new cockpits.
Would really like to know how this seat is working together with the F-18C at the moment.Cheers Obi1

Thanks for pointing that, does that happen before the AB detent in 4.33 (or is my software AB detent is not set to the physical one)? That what was confusing me that it was happening before the detent.

I’ll try to get those all checked this weekend Obi1.

Don’t know by heart, but I’m pretty certain BMS detent is how you set it in the controls setup page.
When you are in mil power, MLU has RPM at 96%. The gauge even has red tape on that mark normally. -

So far every aircraft on your list to me works. Note that I don’t have a Jetseat so I’m not getting the different areas of vibration in my bass transducers like you would with the Jetseat, but they all are shaking at the right times.

Hi pilots,
as I promised, I’ve finished SimShaker BMS part beta stage by the end of January.
All essential bugs are fixed and I consider current version (1.1.1.15) as stable.
I haven’t added authorization keys yet, but that’s seems not to be a problem.
I’m going to add them later. That’s not the most interesting part of work
You may use SimShaker for free some more time or pay me in advance, if you’d like to support the project. Many thanks to Matt (Snake122), Kelly (wingnut), Stefaan (Focaldesign), Michael (Icarus), HiWay and other pilots for support and feedback.
-
and thank you for the software. I really enjoy using the jetseat.
-
Haven’t had a chance to use the new version much yet to try the new flaps effects, but got to try the ground shudders, AB, and speedbrakes are all good. Thanks Andrey!
Hope to get a Jetseat KW-908 sometime in the U.S. so I can play with the different motor location effects!
-
Quick question, those of you using the KW-908, can you use USB headphones and have the different zones enabled?
Reading the translated Russian site it says you can’t but in ny own testing you can I can at least output to a second USB sound device l via SimShaker, but that is just the mono/stereo output options. While the quietness of the Jetseat is still a plus if I can get one over here, i’m really lookin forward to the idea of different motors vibrating more for different effects.
