Datalink not staying on
-
Mower is this in MP? We are having some similar situations, and are watching it close. Will try your tip. Last few flights some have lost some data, not all, when someone else exits the sim for what ever reason. Not sure if it’s related, but will watch more closely.
We see it in MP mode, Balkans and KTO.

Aww. This was only happening MP for me. So we played tonight… No issues… Maybe I was just having a bad day…

We have some planes drop off the IDM too during MP. Seems to happen when someone disconnects from the sim. I was hosting the IDM so it wasn’t because the person who dropped out was hosting it. Last time I was able to get it working again by switching out of cont mode, wait a few seconds then get cont going again.

did you maybe bind a key to the Left Comm switch? i just click on Cont and then hold Ctrl+ o and i hold it for 2 seconds then let go i hear the beep and i see everyone from my flight on the HSD and FCR if i want to add additional Packages then you have to go through the Number Pad with clicking list then clicking enter then clicking right on the Rocker switch and then you can type them in manually try and see if you can enter your flight that way and see if it stays

I hold the Ctrl+ O for up to 5 seconds and nothing happens I looked in all the key files there is a key binding but it is for something else Maybe I can’t use this feature
If Sage OT figured this out maybe he can let me know the secret
Thanks

Make sure it is “Ctrl+o” not “Ctrl+0 (zero)”

It used to be Ctrl-O (oh, the letter) but who knows what skyhawk’s key file is. The default 4.33 .key file definition for SimCommsSwitchRight is PgDn according to the PDF.
-
@Frederf - I am not sure what the 4.33 change is. I was guessing it was the same. I am using my old keyfile from 4.32.

This would all be cleared up if OP would paste the line(s) which contain SimCommsSwitchRight from his .key file. Until we are only guessing what control might be bound (if it is at all!) to that callback. Callback is Truth. Callback is All.

SimCommsSwitchLeft -1 0 0xD3 0 0 0 1 “TQS: COMMS Switch Left - IFF OUT”
SimCommsSwitchRight -1 0 0xD1 0 0 0 1 “TQS: COMMS Switch Right - IFF IN”That? It’s Ice’s .key file for Helios. It appears to be working for me again. Last MP session no issues. shrug

0xD1 is Page Down key.
