Morphine's Profile
-
There is a SP/STP Toggle function on the Shifted TMS Hat. What Callback name would it be mapped to?
-
That just happened to me today while I was doing my first IQT training in 4.33u1. Nobody told me that device sorting had anything to do with 4.33u1. The profiles worked great 4.33, but in 4.33u1 it changes. So I got in the pits and nothing worked. Got it fixed though and it works great again. Thanks morphine it’s a great profile.
-
Edit: figured it out!
-
I’ve just installed fresh Windows 7 pro x64 with all the stuff needed (WoT included ) and after FalconBMS 4.33.U1 I realized that Morphin’s profile works perfectly. Without any problems. Maybe I’m just lucky

I was having issues with my Warthog, etc… But I downloaded a program called JoyID and no matter if I have unplugged my HOTAS and MFD’s, they always return to the same mapping location.
-
That is not longer necessary. There is a file in BMS that allow to change that. I cannot recall exact name. It is ‘devices something’ in config folder.
Here,
C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\User\Config\DeviceSorting.txtC:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Docs\Key Files & Input\BMS Key File Manual.pdf. Chapter 8 “THE DX DEVICE ORDER”

Indeed and this info may be of some use also regarding JoyID:
"Note: This tool has an effect only with games using the (old, deprecated) Win32_API for joysticks. Newer games (starting at least with IL-2 1946) probably use the DirectInput API which unfortunately ignores these IDs completely. "
Quoted from ATAG forums.

I’ve been trying to use Morphines’ Warthog profile. I am encountering a flight control issue that is related to my Thrustmaster TFRP. It seems the rudder pedals come across as Thrustmaster combined. I believe there is an issue with a lack of axes in Thrustmaster combined.
I discovered that when I created a profile in the Target GUI that only included the stick and throttle - the two devices appeared in BMS as Thrustmaster combined. The rudders came across as a separate device.
I tried to look at Morphines TMC file to see if there were any devices defined besides the stick and the trottle but did not see anything besides the stick and throttle. Does anyone have any ideas?
-
Ok, I think I figured it out. I took a look at the GUI profile in script form. It specified “no TFRPRudder”. That solved the issue. The rudder appeared as a separate device.

Hey B2Blain,
I’ve been trying the same thing with my thrustmaster pedals, they keep coming up combined. So you think you could send me your profile so I can get it working right? Right now I have to unplug the pedals run the profile in the target GUI and then plug them back in to get them separate from the combined. Thanks Rhino

Does any one know how to keep rudder pedals as the own indenty. I just picked up a set of Thrustmaster TFRP t-Rudder pedals. Now I’ve edited the script in the target UI but they are still combining with the throttle. So when I go into BMS UI they don’t show up but they are connected to the throttle. Right now what I do is unplug the rudder pedals before running script and then plug them back in and everything is ok. But there has to be a way to get around this without the hassle of unplugging and plugging in. Any Ideas?
Thanks, Rhino 185th

Hey Rhino,
Place this in Morphines script using the script editor at the beginning with the other lines excluding devices:Configure(&TFRPRudder, MODE_EXCLUDED);
I found it by selecting only stick and throttle and looking at the script in the GUI. Thrustmaster support was not help.

Anyone know how to get out of dogfighting mode. My element took out two SAM sites and were jumped by Mig-29s. I panicked and put it in dogfight mode and couldn’t get out. I found one post about hitting the c key to cancel. But I think Morphines key file is different.
Update 1: The “c” key is the override key. But that doesn’t work. I was able to get the FCR to change modes to RWS. But cannot get the dogfighting symbology off of the HUD.
Update 2: I figured out what was wrong. There must be an issue with Morphines’ key file or profile. The “c” key was not working. I used Boxin’s profile and key file and was able to get it to work.
Thanks,

Hey B2Blain, Thanks so very much. Works like a charm. Now I don’t have to go through unplugging and plugging back in. I really appreciate it. I had try to rem it out also but that did not work either. Yours works Great.

I’m glad to help. This forum is a great resource. Before I had the TFRP I had CH pedals which I couldn’t get to work in BMS. I returned them and got the TM pedals thinking it would be compatible with TARGET and have less issues. Then spent several nights trying to find out why the jet was drifting so much. Like I said TM is of no help. There solution is to send you a link to the manual.

Challenge Accepted!
This is also something I’ve wanted to do for a while as well. Add the code below to the TARGET Script and the 1st (Top) LED will come on once you are in the deadzone and the remaining lights will come on once you leave the deadzone and activate the AB. In your controller setup screen set the AB detent when the first light is on and you will be good to go.
Add the code below between the following two lines in the TARGET Script:
SetShiftButton(&Joystick, S3);////////////////// AXIS CONTROLS //////////////////////////////
////////////////// LED CONTROLS ////////////////////////////// //initialize LED status all "OFF" ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED1)); //set LED 1 OFF ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED2)); //set LED 2 OFF ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED3)); //set LED 3 OFF ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED4)); //set LED 4 OFF ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED5)); //set LED 5 OFF //LED Throttle Position Indicator; LED 1 - MIL Power; LED 1-5 AB KeyAxis(&Throttle, THR_LEFT, 0, AXMAP2( LIST( 0, 65, 75 ), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED1), CHAIN( LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED1), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED2), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED3), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED4), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED5)), CHAIN( LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED2), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED3), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED4), D(), LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED5)) ));
If you’ve changed the deadzone to something other than 65 - 75, you will need to adjust the vaules in the text “AXMAP2( LIST( 0, 65, 75 )” accordingly.
I love the mods to your profile but I can’t seem to get the LEDs to light up when going into AB. I don’t know if it an AXMAP issue with the dead zone - I’ve posted the script from my profile below. As I understand it, after I have ran the profile I go into BMS set up. Load the appropriate key file, then set the AB when the light comes on. I’m assuming you are referring to the fifth light in the column at the top of the trottle. The fifth light is off. I push the throttle forward and the light never comes on.
MapAxis(&Throttle, THR_LEFT, DX_ZROT_AXIS);
SetCustomCurve(&Throttle, THR_LEFT, LIST(0,5, 65,70, 75,70, 100,100)); //start at 5% for idle cuttoff & create a deadzone between 65% and 75% for ABMapAxis(&Throttle, THR_RIGHT, DX_Z_AXIS);
SetCustomCurve(&Throttle, THR_RIGHT, LIST(0,5, 65,70, 75,70, 100,100)); //start at 5% for idle cuttoff & create a deadzone between 65% and 75% for ABThanks!

Hello,
Just installed your profile, everything seems to work accordingly except the China ht (the red one on the throttle) where it should be the range knob. It doesn’t work in the game and even when using the event tester it doesn’t show any output.
Could you help ?
-
I just read your question and ran my profile and the china hat works fine. In the device analyzer it should show button 11 and 12 being lite. Maybe try to download the file again because you never know. I’ve been using the profile for a year with no problems.
