Falcon MFD Software for android tablets

I turned my firewall off. Can you explain sentence “ping smth”? I don’t know what does it mean
Open an command line window and type in: ping 192.168.1.1 where this number has to be the network address of your tablet. Maybe is it a better idea to ask one of your friends with basic network knowledge.

Hai Komurcu,
I have everything running except the ews on/off switch but that isn’t to important. In the previous version I had a smooth respons on the app but when using the TPG it started to lag behind. In te last version the TPG has no effect I can notice but I have a halve a second delay with every press in the app. Is this what I should expect or do I have an Issue somewhere?
RedeyeStorm.
Be sure that all other apps are closed down on your tablet. Maybe there is an other app in the background using network resources? (updates e.d.)

Ok, I did what you told me to do. Look like PC detect and exchange data with tablet via network. No packet loss, averge ping is 53 ms.

Did you change the ip address on the app to the ip of the server? Save it and restart the app. Be sure all other apps in the background are closed.
Do you have a reliable wireless connection with your tablet without dropouts? 53ms seems to be a little bit slow.
In my situation I have a wireless access point about 2 meters from my desk.

Yes, I have changed, saved and restarted. All apps closed. I’ve got reliable connection because router is my, I’m an administrator. I noticed something. When I launch server there is it’s IP in left upper corner. Should it be 192.168.X.X? Currently there is 25.135.X.X. I entered ipconfig in cmd and that IP (25. …) is same as Hamachi IPv4.

You are using Hamachi? Probably something wrong with your ip address. I’m sorry I do not have any knowledge about Hamachi. I never use such kind of tools.

does anyone know why the links don’t work or have a new place where it can be downloaded?
-
3 days ago I didn’t have any problems. I used the links in the first post of this topic.

Hi FiberGorilla, Komurcu,
I shut down all apps as suggested and it helped some. At the beginning of the flight I have smooth operation but when repeatedly switching between mfd en icp it started to lag. It reminds me of the effect of the memory not being cleared, but honestly I have no idea. I am open to suggestions if noone else suffers from this.
Great app by the way.

Sorry, but till now I didn’t do repeatedly switching between mfd and icp. I will try to do some tests this weekend.

For those wishing MFD Server would run in windowed mode, here is my solution:
Download AutohotKey (it’s free) https://autohotkey.com/
create an AHK script file using notepad
put this code in the script/* The first line looks to see if MFD Server is already running -- if so - nothing to do -EXIT In the first line, match the text you see at the top of the MFD Server Window, this is how AHK will find it The run command will fire up the executable from your current installation folder - modify the text inside the quotes to match your location It will wait for MFD server to run and come active It will then force it to window mode and pause for 4 seconds for MFD Server to execute the sys command It will then move the window to the upper right (on my monitor) adjust the X, Y coordinates to match your monitor resolution (mine is 2560 x 1440) and place the server box where you want it (including on a different monitor by using negative numbers) */ IfWinNotExist, Falcon MFD Server ( Falcon MFD Path : C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1); <- Location of my BMS install ** Yours may be different ** { run, "D:\MFD Server 3.4.0.2\FalconMFDServer.exe" ;<- Location of my MFD Server Installation ** yours may be different ** WinWait, Falcon MFD Server PostMessage, 0x112, 0xF120,,, Falcon MFD Server ; 0x112 = WM_SYSCOMMAND, 0xF120 = SC_RESTORE sleep 4000 WinMove, Falcon MFD Server 1500,0 sleep 1000 } ```- save it as MFDServerStart.ahk or any name ending in .ahk Double click it to start the MFD Server (as long as .ahk files are associated with autohotkey) You can also comvert it into an exe file. BTW AutoHotKey is usefull to capture HOTAS comm switch presses to activate push-to-talk hot keys in OBS and other video capture software. This is my X-65-F code to record me while in flight (without recording my dogs barking at the RWR)

Your app works great…but if you can solve just one problem…it would be even better…
Once ICP or MFD’s starts working in the app on mobile and you try to access the korea map from the menu…the app crashes. After restarting the app if you try to access the map again…it loads properly but again if you start using ICP of MFD and try to access the map again…the app crashes…
(I have already saved the map in settings menu at 2048px and it works fine if i go for laucning the map directly, but should i launch map after i have launched the ICP or MFD, it crahses and you have to restart the app again !!!) -
