SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS support thread
-
Sorry, the check box is making high pitch sound in Buttkicker.
In test sound, the signal is greyed out not solid white.
-
ahh… that’s another story.
Why not to keep it unchecked?Last update of SimShaker was on September 23, 2016.
I suggest that a recent problem may be a kind of your local issue. -

I suggest that a recent problem may be a kind of your local issue.I have been using unchecked since last update. When I say recent, I mean since last update in September. I have been trying to figure this out since then with no luck.
-
Well, I’m a bit confused. I’m sorry.
What kind of problem we should sort out? -
First problem, I can’t seem to figure out why the Buttkicker works in test sound but has much lower volume in BMS.
Second problem is why the check box makes the high pitch sound in Buttkicker now. Sound pattern is grayed out on visualization bar when checked.
Before September update none of these problems happened.
-
OK. Thank you.
The last update may be cancelled via Control Panel - Programs and Features - Change.
Could you please do that? -
Ok, I fixed the volume problem. Not sure what I did, but the volume is back full. May have been audio manager setting, but I also uninstalled and reinstalled Simshaker software.
The “Keep Buttkicker Awake” issue persists. So I guess I will keep it turned off if there is no fix.
-
“Keep Buttkicker Amp Awake” wasn’t a very good feature from the very beginning. It may depends on BK Amp filters state.
I do not recommend use it if there is no strong necessity, or customize its sound sample (keepAwake.wav) to a particular BK instance. -
Ok thanks. I have both filters turned off. Its weird though that it worked for a while then began with the high pitched sound. I will just leave it off. Thanks.

In a stock JetSeat one could carefully cut out a rectangle to avoid interference with the stick.
Seems not to be a problem.Noted and thanks!

SimShaker for Aviators released, guys
https://dreamsimteam.blogspot.ru/2016/11/simshaker-for-aviators-ssa-is-released.html -
Very nice! Congrats on the release!
-
Great, congrats!
-
Thanks André,
So we switch software? Dowload and install SSA and rather use this one than Simshaker?
-
Since BMS implementation is identical in SSA and the legacy SimShaker, you can use any one. You will probably find SSA GUI more convenient.
When we encounter a need to update BMS part, we’ll decide in which SimShaker (or both) we should do that. -
You can use your Sound Module key in SSA as well.
-
Just ordered from your shop Andre. That’s the best christmas gift to myself
-
Hi Chris,
thank you for the order! Will be shipped soon!
Merry Christmas -
Thanks for the sound module key Andre, works great with my bass shaker setup. Are there plans to include g-feeling (per your settings page for the jet seat) for the sound module?
-
I’m sorry for the delay with the answer, Propnut. Haven’t got the notification this time.

I think it worth implementing. Hopefully in 2017.
Guys, I’m going to be on my vacation from December 25 to January 8.
