I intent to create the KF-16 block 52/72 (V) model. I read yesterday the KF’s will be upgraded to the V model.

Hi JanHas,
Is what you will create F-16C Blk 50 model please?

Hi, JanHas.
Thanks a lot for the great models.
For longer taxi I open the canopy and with the hocked Ladder looks fany.
Think about.:) -
What is BMS type25 canopy what does these models and canopy do?

Poly type 25. The same (bright) canopy reflection as the standard BMS F-16’s. Personally I don’t like that look and prefer the more colorful and realistic poly type 21.
I’m currently working on the F-16C 52 Plus model with CFT’s. Once that is model is done I will either do the MLU’s or the 50CM…
@RD: normally the canopy stays closed until the engine is off to avoid papers etc. being sucked from the pit into the engine. It would be nice to see BMS create a separate switch for the ladder. Now it’s either chocks switch or canopy dof to show the ladder…

Hi JanHas,
Still loving these models/skins! Quick question: do you have any tips/advice so I can change the pilot text on the canopy, please?

Pilot names etc are on the tail skin texture.

Pilot names etc are on the tail skin texture.
I thought that were the case, but IIRC, the PSD didn’t match the actual DDS texture. I’ll check tonight

Jan do you think to make wheel chocks’ dof linked intake cover in next updates. Maybe it looks better with remove before flight flags.

Starting up with chocks in place is OK, with intake cover…… I don’t think so

I’ve seen that happen. The look on the guys face when he realized what he had done was interesting to watch. Watching his face get even more grim when the reality of all the FF games he and anyone else involved were about to play, was …. priceless.

I am talking about before RAMP Start. I know that to Starting Up in this way is not nice for reality. But you can say if you have a sugesstion
I agree Jan about "It would be nice to see BMS create a separate switch for the ladder" and all the flags, covers, etc… -
Is it a pilots responsibilty to remove intake cover and flags, and the access ladder? If not, then I would suggest they are not needed.
-
All covers, remove before flight markings etc are the ground crew area. The intake cover will be removed before the pilot begins his walk around. The remove before flight strips are on the bird in the areas that need to be in place and will be removed and shown to the pilot as the ramp start progresses. If the plane is loaded with live munitions, safety pins (remove before flight markings will be on the aircraft) all the way to the EOR where they are removed by the ground crew and shown to the pilot. When the aircraft returns and live weapons are still on, the aircraft will be secured once again before the aircraft returns to the final parking.
At least this is the way RDAF are doing it, and I assume that this is a NATO standard.
