I'm back….

Now less than 2 months to permanent retirement, I’m looking forward to finally having time to get back into F4. Was floored to recently get a request to join my long dead theater group.
While no doubt I will have to spend a lot of time getting up to speed with BMS33, I would still very much like to get Hawaii working. So a couple general questions…does the naval aspect of F4 work any differently/better than 3-4 years ago? Has there been any changes with terrain re: palette, resolution vs theatre size restrictions or things that make terrain makedly better?

Crossup welcome home. Vectors are to final.
Naval is pretty slick. As some people know I have been a little unfaithful with flying an FA-18 around when the F-16 is not looking. It is a blast, but of course the avionics are not FA-18 and actually F-16. If you read the -18 Natops you will be not be much wiser - e.g. the ramps start is a fudged (but good fudge) version. Hence I have limited myself to FA-18 flying as a kind of hobby and not a job. Trapping on a carrier always feels good IMHO, and for that you don’t need a good avionics model!
