I’d use the supertile in hd res and split the tiles at 512 is enough, no stress for pc.
Tavor, go ahead and think about the present, don’t leave your project, try to create supertiles for 3/4 big regions map

Thank you ALL for your support of UTO project and my tests!
Now I have images for the BIG Supertile, 96x96 km, but this will be 9216 tiles ))). I’m still testing a flexible and curving coastline of the Crimean peninsula. I hope you like it ))) -
I dont see that happening. If they could increase it I am sure they would have already done so.
Remember, it took them a while to make it possible for independent theaters to have their own Sim folders!!

Agree, just after we could get DX11 or OpenGL and graphic cards’ intensive use implemented in full, I have to guess from the very little I can understand…
Because Falcon has been released in 1999 substantially, this will be a very hard task for our devs, or almost a nightmare, I’m afraid.Just my one cent, and sincerely hoping I’m terribly wrong about.

Uber nightmare and a huge relief.
If u want to take advantage of the new gfx the team must create additionally new tool like lodeditor.
Maybe and one serius reason why we already don’t take advantage of the current gfx engine (dx9) potential. -
Converting to DXM would make a BIG difference……but I already heard from them sometime ago. NOT an option.
