Saitek Switch Panel working in DCS/others, anybody try BMS?
-
I noticed that the DCS guys have a program to have the switch panel, it doesn’t look like it makes it a full DX input controller, but at least it could be programmed. There are some IL-2/War Thunder guys saying they are using it via the DCS software. Anybody try it in BMS?
Even if the gear lights wouldn’t work (yet/ever), I just like having a gear handle. I would get out the label maker and redo the rest of the switches, I think the Magento switch would be a good option for the CMDS switch if I leave off the OFF posion of the switch (6 position in RL, only 5 on the Saitek).

Hello Snake122
did anyone ever reply on this?
I am considering a Saitek Switch Panel but only if it can easily interface to say generic windows 7 drivers to be recognised as additional switches -
I have it working through the linked drivers. No gear lights (unless they have added BMS specific drivers, been on a sim hiatus lately due to work).
There are no factory plug and play drivers that would allow it to work as a traditional DX input controller.

Any BMS members out there clever enough to make Saitek panels work on BMS using this info?

I’m sure there is, but do they have the time when there isn’t that many of us using them…

Thanks for those helpful posts. The projekt changes to https://github.com/jdahlblom/DCSFlightpanels/releases
With this latest DCS-driversoftware it´s possible to program the switch panel with keystrokes of BMS. -

Oh, I wish I could, but I´m not able to do something like that.
