Did you check the hardpoints in the database vehicle, AC?
My guess is there is one or more hardpoint than the 3D model slots.Gr Falcas

OK, case solved!!
my lod slot setting is correct.
the key is … the value of ac max-takeoff weight, should be reasonably bigger than loaded weight(empty weight + fuel).
in my first f4browse edit, MTOW is loaded weight+900+lb. that value for additional external store is too small…BMS exe refuses to show load screen BUT - you can fly clean ac in TE, no CTD!
I do a test increasing MTOW to loaded weight+1500lb, done > loading screen is back!!
there must be a hidden code line like …
MTOW-(Empty W + fuel) < some minimal value => hit loadout screen => CTD. -
add few more low-polys for fun…

<cough>actually I once considered making a low-poly spitfire for fun… if I build it, I may have to build a hurricane, then bf109 and bf110, plus he111, he112 and so on….a loooong list in the end.

yes. use LE to replace one existing model, such as F-100.
you have to … rename skin number to a new number, convert to dds, add to skin folder with LE, change the texture/skin number in that ac model lod, save, then append ac lod to 3d DB, write down that new appended lod number, go to F-100 normal parent, edit, change first lod number to the new number. done.
if you are not familiar with LE operation…be sure to check some sticky threads in this forum.

while testing Kurile mod, I found some Russia AG weapon not working properly…
so, I do some tweak and test…

add onboard TGP to Su-39 via ac dat. > it works.

AS-17A should be a ASM type, change to radar/harpoon ASM type. works!
BUT -its flight path makes it hard to hit target > IRL it should fly high and dive to hit. harpoon terminal mods are popup and seaskimming… skimming is not its style, while popup maneuver cause high G - in my test, it fly so fast that the terminal popup maneuver-big curve- makes it overshoot.

AS-14L already a laser weapon in db. now with TGP, it hits target nicely.

AT-16* is set to optic in db. it works. I change guidance to realistic laser and works properly… the lock time just longer than optic…the advantage is…once tgt locked, you can fire them in ripple…boooom!

hmm…more tests show my tweaked at-16 can’t destroy tanks… weird.
laser lock on tank, external view shows missile hit or very near tanks, but tanks don’t smoke/explore/burn…i checked the warhead type, kill power, and even increase kill power and hit chance values - all in vain. fire 16 AT-16, not a single tank destroyed??
=> test fire at airbase big cylinder gas storage tank, AT16 can destroy it.
=> fire at moving ship, hit light spot flash noted at mid of ship model but debrief shows all 16 missiles missed? -

the lod is slightly upgraded and loaded with dedicated gas tank, six rounds of aim4 variants.
