X-52: Radar Cursor Sliding
-
After recently buying a new computer and installing BMS, my next issue is to get my X-52 running. I found several BMS-profiles for the X-52 but all of them where empty when I loaded them into the Saitek programming software. So I started my own profile which basically worked fine until I tried programming the radar cursor movement. Moving the cursor up and down is working fine but as soon as I try to move it left or right, the cursor starts sliding without stopping. Does anyone have an idea why this happens?

I think that most of the profiles you find on this site are mostly directx with only a little bit of sd programming - incidentally for the microstick. I found that slewing the radar cursor with the microstick is that it doesn’t like using modified keys (ie. shifted). I remapped those functions without using shift and it instantly solved that problem.
Cheers!

Thanks for your reply. The radar cursor in my profile is programmed to the POV hat 1 (unshifted) so shifting can not have caused the issue.

When I said “shifted” I meant something like “Shift-a” or “Shift-F9” as the key command you are invoking.

Agree, best chance if using the Saitek programming is single press keys …. no modifiers.
Best solution overall is to NOT use Saitek programming at all … re-assign mini-stick x/y as axes.
