I read the manual on weapons. I am still lost. Where is the gun setup on the controller page on the BMS page. I cannot find it. Also I went to the master arm off and hit the joystick button 3 and it does not let me fire anything guns or missiles. Would appreciate your help. I am going to try to work with the target software tonight and I am really lost with that.
Thank you for your time and help. Lastly I want to fly multiplayer and join a squadron. Is there a link I can download the program?

What “setup sheet”?
On the BMS SETUP –> CONTROLLER page, press ALT-/ (in a default keyfile). That should bring the list to “second trigger detent”. Click that to highlight it. Press your trigger. That command should now be mapped to your trigger.
Repeat for other necessary commands.

Trigger (2nd) is “STICK: SECOND TRIGGER DETENT” in section 5.11 FLIGHT STICK and will actuate the cannon.
Master Arm switch has 3 positions, up is armed, middle is safe, and down is simulate. To actually fire weapons use the armed position. The HUD should have the world ARM on it.
The gun is only available to fire via the trigger when it is selected. The gun is selected in any of three modes: AG strafe, AA gun, and Dogfight. The SMS MFD page will have on it somewhere “GUN 51” when the gun is selected showing 51 indicating ~510 rounds available. The AG master mode is accessed by the “AG” circular button on the ICP below the HUD and AA mode by the “AA” button. Selecting the gun is done with OSB (buttons around the MFD screens) when on the SMS MFD page. Dogfight is selected by way of a special 3-way throttle switch: middle being not overridden, aft being override dogfight, and forward being override missile. These are accessed by default with keyboard “D” (dogfight), “C” (cancel), and “M” (missile).
By download the program do you mean BMS? Using a torrent program (I use Deluge) the three packages which make up the current program are found:

Hi Jayefayed,
I’m new myself, I have set up BMS in the last month or so, flying just training missions, and creating simple missions to target bridges and alike, and also reading main criteria on MFD’s the 2 windows on the panel with the OSB buttons situated around them, 20 on each, SHIFT/ALT Depressed will allow you to operate Right MFD by selecting numbers 1-10 on keyboard for top and right row and 1-10 on number pad for bottom and left row.
CTRL/ALT will operate the Left MFD
Once you have studied the weapons manual a bit, it will become clearer on how to operate.
I would watch a video on youtube of a guy called Krause, hes with BMS KUDOS to you Krause if your reading.
Get a cold one and watch one of these
Hope this helps a bit.

Like Frederf said, for guns you need to map your trigger to STICK: SECOND DETENT because first detent is probably mapped to your trigger by default and first detent just lases the target. I believe. And as Tactical T said Krause’s, SuperNova’s and others do some really good Youtube videos. But my suggestion after you get basic takeoff navigation and landing going is to create a simple Tactical Engagement (TE) where you can take off and be to a single enemy aircraft within a couple of minutes. Isolate what you are trying to figure out. Get rid of all the environmental distractions you can and then I have the BMS PDF manuals open on my laptop nearby. I pause the sim, review the manual, jot some notes, and then unpause the manual. Then I turn what I learn into a typed up checklist to reinforce what I learned. Also your own checklist will be really great to jog your memory especially if you aren’t flying everyday at the start. There are so many things to remember that you may be really frustrated without quick reference checklists. And since we don’t get flight instructors in the sim, make generous use of that pause button. Good luck.
